In this program, you will have rotations through key areas of our business to provide a better view of opportunities across our organization. The first step in the On-Track program is Boot Camp. This two-week course gives you a complete overview of our software solutions and services, and prepares you to add value to our company. Rotations: After Boot Camp, you will start your rotations. • The Research & Development team rotation will expose you to the intricacies of the product development life cycle, including the creation, documentation and testing of software development. The R&D rotation will also take you through our Customer Care team. This rotation gives you the opportunity to work with our team in identifying and resolving functional or technical issues our customers face when working with our software. You will gain further insight into our product suite, and develop experience with first-hand customer interaction. You may also have rotations through our Marketing, Technical Sales, and Professional Services departments. Fulltime Roles: After your rotations, you will then be prepared to fulfill a role in the area that aligns with your skills and aspirations. • If this role aligns with Aprimo Services as a Consultant, this role provides the opportunity to interact with marketing thought leaders through a client-facing position. You also would have the opportunity to relocate from Indianapolis to a major city that is closer to some of our marquee clients. Target cities include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Washington DC, London, Paris and NYC. In this role, you provide implementation, consulting, and enablement to strengthen the value of Aprimo to its customers. • If you choose a role which aligns with our Research & Development division you will stay in our Indianapolis headquarters. In our R&D organization there are many opportunities including Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Production Software Engineers. • Connect Cloud and On-Premise Applications Using IBM Websphere Cast Iron Integration
Front cover Connect Cloud and On-premise Applications Using IBM WebSphere Cast Iron Integration Redguides for Business Leaders Chandar Pattabhiram Jaime D’Anna Connect cloud and on-premise applications quickly and easily Use a "configure, not code" method of integration Deliver cloud integration with built-in connectivity and integration templates Executive overview To cut costs, drive productivity, and provide new capabilities quickly, companies are turning to cloud applications to meet their business needs. Cloud computing is a new consumption and delivery model. This new style of computing provides applications, data, and IT resources to users as services delivered over the network. In this case, the application is delivered as a service known as software as a service (SaaS). Cloud applications can cut IT costs, by reducing the resources needed for cloud application deployment. These applications can also increase the productivity of business users by making applications available at the time of need. Cloud applications (from service providers) have a pricing structure that reduces budgetary issues, which can get in the way of procuring new applications. As the success of cloud applications grows, what were once department-level solutions to reduce cost and increase the effectiveness of specific employee teams now face hurdles when these solutions must grow to support the wider enterprise. On a daily basis, users require access to various systems and applications that are critical to doing their job. These applications can include cloud applications and on-premise systems and applications. It is vital that these applications and systems are integrated and function seamlessly, providing the user with the latest information.
