Elder Durward Davis Durward Davis is a native of Los Angeles California. His spirit, presence, and stature are both undeniable, but somehow he has managed to stay hidden from the world’s stage until now. Durward’s love and fascination with music was encouraged by his father who overheard him singing a Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes commercial at the age of six. His father was amazed at his great talent and persuaded Durward to sing in an upcoming worship service at their local church. Durward has been singing ever since. His signature gift has certainly made room for him. Durward has provided background vocals for Pattie Labelle’s, Miss Patti’s Christmas Project, TV One’s The Gospel of Music, The Major Feature Film “Bobby”, as well as jingles and voice-overs for commercials. He has shared the same stage with some of music’s greatest names, not limited to but including Kim Burrell, Wayman Tisdale, Gospel Duo Mary-Mary, Beverly Crawford, Judith McAllister, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Sandi Patti, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond and Shirley Caesar to name a few. Durward is a gifted and anointed preacher, composer, arranger, psalmist, worship leader, consultant and clinician. He is an ordained Elder in the Church of God in Christ, Inc. under the capable leadership of Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake. He is no stranger to ministry, service and excellence. He is one of the founding partners of Manigault, Davis & Jones a 21st Century Ministry Consulting Firm. You may have seen him recently as a finalist on BET’s hit show “Sunday Best”. He has traveled across the country and abroad ministering and sharing the life- changing message of Jesus Christ. He served as member of the Oral Roberts Ministry Evangelistic Team under the direction of Televangelist Richard Roberts. In addition, for better than three years, he could be seen live nightly on the Hour of Healing Television Broadcast, “Something Good Tonight”. He’s a graduate of Oral Roberts University. He has taken to heart the mandate as spoken of by the late Dr. Oral Roberts, “…Go where God’s light is seen dim, where His voice is heard small, and His healing power is not known, even to the uttermost bounds of the earth…” .
