UMD means a lot of things to a lot of people.

Not only is it a fin e, growing, educationa l institution , UMD a lso is a viable industry pouring millions of dollars into our community. Last year alone UMD expended $7 million in salaries and another $4 million for s upplies. In add ition over $43 million has been spent for construction.

One of the ways is to join the growing li st of those who contribute to the North Star Sc holars hip Fund. Through their contributions, large and small, hundreds of qua lified student-athletes are getting an opportunity to compete athletically while pursuing a degree.
