Spo- Brevard Live December 2015 - 11 Brevard Live BL: And not only is it ten years, but 6 nights a week right? CT: Oh yeah, six nights a week. I do about 240 shows a year at the Luxor, but it’s only one show a day and I’m like four weeks on, one week off, so it’s not too tough. The hardest part is keeping my voice up. The dry air out in Vegas is a killer on my vocal cords so after a few weeks of shows I start losing my voice. BL: Is it right that you turned 50 this year? You don’t look it at all. CT: Thank you, I don’t think so either. People always think I’m in my thirties…I don’t know, maybe I have a baby face or something. It’s weird though…I don’t feel 50, whatever that’s supposed to feel like. BL: Well, that’s the dirty little secret of adulthood right? We all feel like we’re 16. CT: Exactly! I try to stay healthy though, and I love what I do so maybe that helps me stay young too.
