The valuation models were leveraged to forecast benefit to the mine site and helped in the prioritization of initiatives. By having a clear understanding of the “what’s in it for me” up front, leaders at each mine site were willing to sign up to deliver the improvement projects.

By aligning both benefit dependency and value stream maps, the projectedconstrained benefits were lower than more traditional analysis, easier for leaders to digest, and more closely aligned to the reality delivered.
