The contest will be televised live on ESPN2 as a part of ESPN’s February N 23/25 Husky Classic Frenzy. Jon Sciambi and Mary Murphy will call the action from Westwood. After the Huskies N23 Idaho W, 73-57 defeated USC by 15 points in the teams’ earlier season meeting in Seattle (60-45), USC turned N25 Arkansas State W, 69-59 around to hand UW a 16-point loss, 68-52, in Los Angeles. UCLA, on the other hand, is coming off a 68-56 victory over Washington State at Pauley on Friday. UCLA defeated UW 59-57 in D2 UC Irvine W, 87-69 the teams’ earlier meeting in Seattle Jan. 10. As of Saturday, the Huskies still have a hold D4 Pepperdine L, 56-74 on sixth-place in the conference standings with the Bruins and Women of Troy locked up D7 at Boise State L, 66-88 in fourth place. The Huskies have had a difficult time on the road this season, going 1-9 in D16 #19/17 Ohio State (FSN) L, 54-71 true road contests and 1-1 on a neutral court.
