"Boom ffihE "umh"'R Born in Venezuela and raised throughout V\ I llcJ £r\ llcJV the western hemisphere, Nigel Findley moved to Vancouver, B.C. in 1969. He graduated from the University of with degrees in genetics and creative writing, so logically his career path took him into the computer industry. After several years as a technical writer, department manager, and finally marketing executive, he went out on his own as a freelance writer in 1989. In the years since his first game-related piece was published in an early issue of Dungeon Adventures, he has written material for most major game systems. His first two novels, Into the Void, in TSR'stM "' series, and 2XS, a Shadowrun"' novel published by Penguin's Roc imprint, are selling very well. He has three more novels corning out within the next year: Out ofNippon for the TORG~ system; Shadowplay, to Samplebe published by Roc; and The Broken Sphere, another Spelljammer"' novel. file
