STATE ELECTION COMMISSION, MAHARASHTRA Final Notification I STATE ELECTION COMMISSION, MAHARASHTRA New Administrative Building, Hutatma Rajguru chowk, Madam Cama Roado Mumbai 400 032 ri No' SECATINC-20l8/CR - 421D.-05, date: 0) / L0 Dorc- In exercise of the powers comferred by section 5 (3), 5 A and section l4 of the "The Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, (Bom' LIX 1949)" (hereinafter of referred to as the said Act) after carefully taking in to consideration the objection and suggestion received, in response to tile draft Notification No.GAD / Election 385,.dated 27th August,-1018 fixing for the Ahmednagar Municipal Corporation, the number and the extent of the wards into which the said muniJipal area shall be divided and specifying the wards reserved for the Schedule Castes, the Schedule Tribes, the Backward Class of Citizens and Women (including women belonging to the Schedule Castes, the Schedule Tribes and the Backward Class of Citizens) as the .ut. *uy be, as shown in the Schedule to the said draft notification I, .I.S.Sahatia - State Election Commissioner, Maharashtra, hereby makes the following Notification. [,1 Final Notification 1' WHEREAS, The State Election Commissioner, Maharashtra has specified for Ahrnednagar Mun-icipal Corporation, under Section 5 A of the "Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, the number of seats to be reserved for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and the Backward Class of Citizens and Women (Including women belonging to the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and the Backward class of citizens) as shown below :- Details of Number of councilors Reserved Seats etc. (i). AND, WHEREAS, the lots for reserving the seats for the Backward Class of Citizens and women (including seats reserved for women belonging to the Schedule Castes, the Schedule Tribes and the Backward Class of Citizens) were drawn on date 24-08-2018. 3. Now, therefore, in exercise of section 5 (3),5 A and section 14 of the "Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act" the State Election Commissioher, Maharahstra State hereby fix the number and extent of the wards into which the said Municipal Corporation area shall be divided and speciff the wards in which seats shall be reserved for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Backward Class of the Citizens and women (Including women belonging to the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Backward class of citizens), as the case may be, as shown in the schedule to this Notification. 4. LOCATION & GEOGRAPHICAL DATA: Ahmednagar is the largest district of Maharashtra State in respect of area, popularly known as “Nagar”. It is situated in the central part of the State in upper Godavari basin and partly in the Bhima basin and lies between north latitudes 18°19’ and 19°59’ and east longitudes 73°37’ and 75°32’ and falls in parts of Survey of India degree sheets 47 E, 47 I, 47 M, 47 J and 47 N. It is bounded by Nashik district in the north, Aurangabad and Beed districts to the east, Osmanabad and Solapur districts to the south and Pune and Thane districts to the west. The socio-economic condition and its interaction within itself play an important role. That is why it becomes necessary to study how these factors exert their influence. Dyneshawar sagar (Mula dam), Mulanagar, Rahuri is one of the major fresh water resources used for natural & artificial fishing. Fishing nets found to be used for fishing. Besides fishing nets; fish baits, dynamite palates may possibly used for fishing that may be the reason of death of fish Chela sps. In the present project survey conducted to collect the dead fishes along the bank of darn water. The water of mula dam also being polluted by local tourist.     CHAPTER- III PROFILE OF STUDY AREA (NASHIK, AHMEDNAGAR & AURANGABAD DISTRICTS) 3.1 Introduction: Tourism means experiencing a culture, location, language, cuisine and activities different than one’s own. Maharashtra’s culture and heritage has to be preserved, conserved and promoted in order to develop tourism. Most of the villages in Maharashtra is having potential to attract tourist, but because of the inadequate infrastructural facilities, it is lacking behind. Travelling and exploring new things is the nature of every human being. Now a day’s every person is stressed out and want some change from routine activities. People visit new places to appreciate their beauty, in course of time, has given birth to modern industry called tourism. Maharashtra is the third largest state in India having 36 districts and each district is attracting thousands of tourist visitors. Travel and tourism is the largest service industry in India. It is expected that tourism sectors contribution to the country’s Gross Domestic Product will grow at the rate of 7.8% yearly in the period 2010-2013. In 2013 the travel and tourism industry contributed Rs. 2,170 billion or 2% to the country’s GDP. This is expected to rise to Rs. 4,350 billion in the year 2024.
