Monthly increases exceeded 500 before the virus took off globally, and the latest Ministry of Transport figures put the situation back nearly to normal. However, it’s a push at this rate to get near the end of year 32,000 EV target and make the former National-led government aim of 64,000 EVs on the road by the end of 2021.
