An open house was held within each municipal ward and at several other community events. 417 Hamiltonians attended the open houses, casting over 9,000 votes on Our Future Hamilton vision ideas and generating over 300 new ideas to be included in Hamilton’s new community vision.

Introduction

A second online survey supporting “Our Future Hamilton: Communities in Conversation” was available to residents from October 26 until November 30, 2015. The survey was available in both English and French. 671 Hamilton residents completed the online survey; 617 surveys were submitted in English and 54 surveys were submitted in French. Survey respondents had the option to submit their postal code in addition to their survey responses. A summary of geographic distribution of survey respondents by ward is shown below. Additional demographic information was not collected.
