An initiative of Project Lyttelton, the festival is sponsored by Christchurch City Council and Lyttelton Port of Christchurch, with support and sponsorship from other local businesses and organisations. The combination of a masked parade, live Lyttelton bands and performers, the dazzling Lyttelton Port of Christchurch Fireworks - this year at 7:30pm - and fully choreographed to music, is guaranteed to bring local families out in their winter woollies to enjoy the unique atmosphere of London Street, lit up as a winter wonderland especially for the festival.
