[email protected] | Phone 02 6207 7678 Acknowledgements The Inclusive Sport Survey was conducted by Kathy Mumberson, the Play by the Rules Project Officer employed by Sport and Recreation Services, ACT Government. It is one of several components of the Inclusive Sport Project that addresses discrimination, harassment and bullying in sport. An Inclusive Sport Steering Committee was formed to assist in various aspects of the project and the survey, including: research and question design, use of language, and promotion of the survey. Thanks must go to each of the committee members: Sean Acknowledgements Costello, from the ACT Human Rights Commission; Peter Hyndal, from A Gender Agenda; Keiran Rossteuscher, from ACT AIDS Action Council; and Peter Gourlay, from the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission. Each committee member provided valuable input regarding important aspects of the survey and played an essential role with its successful rollout. Paul Oliver and Pete Downs from Play by the Rules partnered with Sport and Recreation Services to deliver the Inclusive Sport Project and effectively promoted the survey through their networks and on the Play by the Rules website. Dr Carolyn Symons from the Victoria University conducted the Victorian Come Out to Play Research Project, a benchmark research project and the first of its type in Australia. Carolyn and Grant O’Sullivan, also from Victoria University, provided practical Inclusive Sport Survey guidance in relation to the survey questions and promotion of these questions to the wider community.
