A Master Degree with at least 55% of the marks or a relevant grade regarding as equivalentto 55% whenever grading system is followed by a recognized University. 2. Ph.D. qualification in concerned/allied/relevant discipline with evidence of published workand research guidance. 3. Associate Professor /Professor with a total experience of 15 ears of teaching/research/administration in Universities /Colleges and other institution of higher education. 4. A Minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) for Professor as Developed by UGC in Regulations-2009. 5. A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the mark to the Ph.D. degree holders. Who have passed their Master’s degree prior to 19 th September , 1991. 6. As per rule of Govt. of Maharashtra /UGC. The Principal Appointment will be for 5 (five) year. Qualification for the post of Assistant Professor (Management) 1)First Class or equivalent in Master’s Degree in business Administration or equivalent and 2 years relevant experience is desirable. Qualification for the post of Assistant Professor (Sci. & Com.) 1. Good academic record as defined by concerned university with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. 2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CISR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET. 3. Holders of Ph.D degree as on the date of Notification of these Regulations, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D degree through a process of admission, registration course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for award of Ph.D Degree), Regulations and so adopted by the university, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. 4. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and master’s level for the SC/ST/Diifferently-abled (physically and visually handicapped) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching to teaching positions Rounding off of marks to make it to 55% or 50% as the case may be through grace mark procedure etc., by universities is not permissible for claiming relaxation. LIBRARIAN: - 1. Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or anequivalent professional degree with at least 55%of the marks or its equivalent grade of55% marks where grading system is practiced and a consistently good academic recordwith knowledge on computerization of library. 2. Qualifying in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or other accredited test like SLET/SETin Library Science conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approvedby the UGC. 3. Holders of Ph.D degree as on the date of Notification of these Regulations, along withthose candidates who are awarded a Ph.D degree through a process of admission,registration, course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (MinimumStandards and Procedures for award of Ph.D Degree), Regulations and so adopted by theuniversity, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. 5. DIRECTOR OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION: - 1. Master’s degree in physical Education or Master’s degree in Sports Science with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalence in a grade point scale with a consistently good academic record. 2. Record of having represented the University /college at the inter-collegiate competitions or the State and /or National Championships. 3. Passed the physical fitness test. 4. Qualifying in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or other accredited test like SLET/SET in Physical Education conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. 5. Holders of Ph.D degree as on the date of Notification of these Regulations, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. degree through a process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for award of Ph.D Degree), Regulations and so adopted by the university, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. 6. As per Government Resolutions No.CBC-10/2003/P.K./MVK, Dated 28 th January,2004,SC/VJ-NT/OBC candidates shall submit their Validity Certificates within 03months from the date of joining (if validity is not available at the time of interview) 2. As per Government Resolution No.STC-1099/PK-14/C-10, Dated 16 th Agust, 2000&STC /14200/PK-43/C-10, Dated 27 th January, 2003 candidates belonging to STCategory is mandatory to submit Caste Validity Certificate at the time of interview. Parallel Reservations: - As per Government Resolution No.SRV-1097/PK-31/98/16-1,Dated 16 th March1999. 3% Reservation for Physically Handicapped and 30% Reservation forwomen shall be observed.
