Please RSVP to [email protected] Rep. Phil Roe, a physician, has become an active player in the effort to reform our nation's healthcare system. He is the co-chair of the House GOP Doctors Caucus and a co-chair of the Congressional Academic Medicine Caucus. As the chair of the Republican Study Committee's Health Care Task Force for the past three congresses, Dr. Roe has helped write a patient-centered, free-market alternative to the Affordable Care Act. Congressman Roe is Ranking Member of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs and chaired the committee in the 115th Congress. Additionally, he serves on the House Education and Labor Committee. Previously, he was a member of the Joint Select Committee on Solvency of Multiemployer Pension Plans. Rep. Tim Burchett was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018 to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Tennessee. Prior to being elected to Congress, Rep. Burchett served eight years as mayor of Knox County, as well as four years in the Tennessee State House and twelve years in the State Senate. Rep. Burchett serves on the U.S. House Budget, Foreign Affairs, Small Business Committees as well as the Freshman Working Group on Addiction Caucus and Republican Study Committee. Rep. Mark Green, M.D. (invited) was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018 to represent the 7th Congressional District of Tennessee. Prior to being elected to Congress, Rep. Green served in the Tennessee State Senate for six years. Rep. Green is also a business leader, decorated combat veteran, ER physician, and author. After his service in the Army, Rep. Green founded an emergency department staffing company as well as two free medical clinics that provide healthcare to under-served populations in Memphis and Clarksville. Rep. Green serves on the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security and Oversight and Government Reform as well as the GOP Doc Caucus and the Republican Study Committee. Rep. John Rose was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018 to represent the 6th Congressional District of Tennessee. Rep. Rose has a bachelor's degree in agribusiness economics, a Master of Science in agricultural economics, and a Juris Doctorate. After law school, he co-founded and served as president of a company, which trains IT professionals across the country. Prior to being elected to Congress, Rep Rose also worked as a farmer. Rep. Rose serves on the U.S. House Financial Services Committee and the Republican Study Committee. Feel free to share this invitation with other interested parties.
