PRODUCTION BIOS

WILLIAM R. GREENBLATT AND KAT GREEN (Executive Producers) — William R. Greenblatt and Kat Green have worked together on films dating back to 1993’s “CBS Schoolbreak Special,” including National Lampoon's “Pucked,” “Clover Bend” and “Hits!” Greenblatt produced on all, where Green worked as a Composer and Music Supervisor (“Pucked”), a music performer (“Clover Bend”) and an actress and Producer (“CBS Schoolbreak Special”). “Nearlyweds” will mark the first time the two have executive produced together.

Greenblatt has also produced films for ABC (“Target Earth”), (“She Stood Alone: The Tailhook Scandal), CBS (“Nightbreaker”) and network (“Warbirds”), among others. He has worked with Danielle Panabaker in the past on the film "Home of the Giants," also starring .

Green has worked as a Music Supervisor on “Born to Drive” and “NoNAMES” and a writer on the soundtracks for “American Dragon: Jake Long,” “Catch That Kid,” “Intoxicating,” “Chuck & Buck” and “She’s All That.”

SHAWN WILLIAMSON (Executive Producer) — With over 20 years experience, Williamson has risen to the forefront of the Canadian film and television industry as a leading independent film and television producer. A native of , Williamson began his career as a stage manager in live theatre in 1983 and has since produced live events, live television, television series, television movies, as well as feature films. In 2001, Williamson combined his film production expertise with the talents of independent producer Stephen Hegyes to form , Inc.

Williamson has filmed in many international destinations including Romania, Ireland, Singapore, France, England and . “Fifty Dead Men Walking” (, ), a Canada/Ireland co-production with Future Films and Handmade Films, shot in Belfast and had a Gala Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Williamson recently completed shooting the TV series “Stormworld,” a Canadian/Australian co-production, which filmed in , Singapore and Canada.

Williamson’s producing credits include Brightlight Pictures’ most successful co-production to date, “White Noise” (starring ), which was a Canada/UK co-production and grossed more than $100 million since its 2005 release. Other past producing credits include: “Alone in the Dark” (, , released by Lions Gate Films), “The Long Weekend” (Chris Klein, Brendan Fehr) and “Edison” (, , LL Cool J, Justin Timberlake).

Williamson also produced “” (Jason Statham, , John Rhys- Davies, Ron Perlman, Leelee Sobieski, Burt Reynolds), “White Noise II” (Nathan Fillion) with Gold Circle Films and Rogue and the television series “Saved” (Tom Everett Scott) for Fox 21 and TNT.

Williamson has line produced both “Wicker Man” (Nicholas Cage, release by Warner Bros.) and “” () for Millennium Films, as well as “Whisper” (Josh Holloway, Joel Edgerton, Dule Hill) and “Slither” (Nathan Fillion, Elizabeth Banks and Michael Rooker, released by Universal Pictures) for Gold Circle Films. He has also line produced the independent features “Possession” (, Lee Pace) for , Vertigo Entertainment and Spitfire Pictures, along with “Passengers” () for Mandate Pictures. Williamson produced “They Wait” (Jamie King) and executive produced the television series “About A Girl” aired by the N Network and Global TV.

Williamson executive produced the recently wrapped “Frankie and Alice” (starring Halle Berry, Stellan Skarsgard) along with season two of the television series “The Guard” with Halifax Film and Global TV. He produced the Canadian western “Gunless” (Paul Gross) with Rhombus Media and “Battle of the Bulbs” for Hallmark Channel.

Williamson chairs the City of Vancouver Industry Film Task Force and sits on the boards of each of the Whistler Film Festival, The Leo Awards and the BC Film Commission Advisory Committee. Williamson has received several awards including: The Canadian Film and Television Production Association (CFTPA) Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2006 (for Brightlight Pictures Inc.) and Business Vancouver’s 40 under 40 Award in 2004.

MARK GRIFFITHS (Director) — A seasoned director, Mark Griffiths wrote and directed his first feature films “Running Hot,” starring Eric Stoltz and “Hardbodies,” starring Michael Rappaport, in 1984. Since then, he has written and directed films for Universal Studios, Columbia Pictures (“Hardbodies,” “Hardbodies 2”), MGM (National Lampoon’s “Going the Distance”), Lifetime (“Safe Harbor”), ABC Family (“Au Pair,” “Au Pair 2,” “Au Pair 3: Adventure in Paradise,”) and AMC (“The Cowboy and the Movie Star”), among others.

Griffiths extensive work on Hallmark Channel films include “Growing the Big One,” starring Shannen Doherty and Kevin Smith, “McBride: Requiem,” starring , “Love’s Unending Legacy,” starring Erin Cottrell, “Our House,” starring Doris Roberts, “What I Did for Love,” starring Jeremy , “Jane Doe: The Wrong Face,” starring Lea Thompson and “Mystery Woman: Mystery Weekend,” starring Kellie Martin.

AURY WALLINGTON (Writer) — Aury Wallington got her first break in television on HBO’s “Sex and the City,” where she worked as a script coordinator. She wrote ‘Cold War,’ an episode that aired during the final season of the show. Since “Sex and the City,” Wallington has written for hit shows including “Veronica Mars” and “Heroes.”

Wallington penned the film “Christmas Cupid,” which starred , and Ashley Benson. On NBC Universal Digital Studio’s original web series, “Dial *,” Wallington not only wrote, but was an executive producer. This series starred “90210” actress, AnnaLynne McCord, and aired on digital and mobile platforms.

On top of her extensive script credits, Wallington has also written six novels, including the Heroes companion, Heroes: Saving Charlie and the teen fiction novel, POP!

Wallington currently writes for “Gravity Falls,” an animated series on Disney Channel. She shares a home in with her rescue dog, Tuesday.

BETH KENDRICK (Author) — Before taking on the topic of weddings in Nearlyweds, Beth Kendrick has a wedding to thank for her writing career, surrounded by published authors while a guest at a wedding reception, she was inspired to pursue her dream of writing professionally.

Since then, Kendrick has authored eight women’s fiction books: The Bake Off, The Lucky Dog Matchmaking Service, My Favorite Mistake, Exes and Ohs, Fashionably Late, The Prenup, Second Time Around and - of course, Nearlyweds. Nearlyweds will be her first book adapted for film. Kendrick also authored the 310 series of teen fiction novels under the pen name Beth Killian and has contributed stories and essays to several collaborations.

Kendrick lives in Arizona with her two rescue dogs, Roxie and Friday.
