Two new openings in Sofia Orbis Hotel Group accelerates the expansion of its network in Bulgaria with the opening of a new and a new in Sofia

A year after taking over the operation of all AccorHotels brands in Central- Eastern Europe and becoming the largest network of in the region with more than 100 hotels, including 2 existing hotels in Bulgaria (Novotel Sofia and ibis Sofia Airport), Orbis Hotel Group accelerates the expansion of its network in Sofia with the opening of a new Novotel and a new ibis hotel.

Our intention is very clear: we want to develop our network of hotels and become market leaders in Bulgaria” – confirmed Gilles Clavie , President and CEO of Orbis Hotel Group.

Novotel Sofia Centre and ibis Sofia Centre will open as a combo-hotel on the same location with separate entrances and reception areas with a total of 250 new rooms in the center of Sofia. Both hotels are owned by Bulgarian Markan Holding AD through MHQ Combo EAD and will be operated by Orbis Hotel Group in the frame of a management contract. The new hotels scheduled to be open in 4Q 2017.

Novotel Sofia Centre will offer 150 rooms, bar, restaurant, fitness center, parking lot as well as extensive meeting and event facilities with the latest technological requirements to accommodate business and personal events on various sizes.

Ibis Sofia Centre will offer 100 rooms, breakfast areas, meeting rooms and extensive parking spaces to its guests.
