Liz Cho (BA Psychology, SUNY Geneseo ’11): Echoes. In Echoes, a series of portraits, Cho, the daughter of first-generation South Koreans, captures honest impressions of her subjects, who are engaged in seemingly insignificant actions, engrossed in the routines and demands inherent to modern living. Providing a stripped-down glimpse into Americana, this collection of photographs is an appreciation for the everyday and the ostensibly familiar—art that is immediately accessible and relatable. Our Voices, Our Songs. A collection of moving artwork, poems, and artefacts created by migrants and farm workers who have come to/through Western New York from Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada, sharing the legacy of their cultures with us.
