To complete this risk assessment: Activity: what will be happening at the event. e.g. bouncy castles, market stalls, heritage vehicles to look at, set up and break down of the event etc. Person at Risk: should be anyone who can be affected by the risk - for outdoor events this is usually 'Everyone', as the general public might have access throughout the event space. Hazard: what could potentially cause harm to the 'Person at Risk': tripping over cabling, bouncing off a bouncy castle, tripping over the edge of a market stall etc. Risk: using the coloured grid at the top of this document from 1-5 what is the L=LIKELIHOOD of this incident occurring/ what is the S=SEVERITY of the injury if the incident occurred/ multiply these numbers together to give you the DR= DEGREE OF RISK. Risk control measures: what will you do to limit the risk of this hazard. E.g: cable covers/ soft mats by the entrance to bouncy castle/hazard tape on the edges of market stalls. Residual Risk: this is the final LIKELIHOOD, SEVERITY and DEGREE OF RISK of this hazard and activity now you have implemented the risk control measures. Not all risks require risk control measures, but if they do the Residual Risk should always be lower than the original Risk.

Between March and September you will be required to take a variety of photos of the following locations and activities…
