Los fanáticos xeneizes celebraron la máxima desgracia de sus primos pero, puertas adentro, a la hora del balance, debieron conceder que el título boquense de esa temporada no fue del todo legítimo: sin cruzarse con River en esa senda ganadora, el triunfo tuvo otro sabor.
