Transportation Information

The San Diego International Airport (Lindbergh Field) and the San Diego Train Station are approximately fifteen miles from campus. San Diego Transit Bus/From the Airport To get to UCSD by bus from the airport, walk to Harbor Dr. from the terminal and take the #923 bus marked Downtown to Broadway. The #923 leaves every thirty minutes from the airport. Cross the street and take the #30 bus marked UCSD/UTC to the VA Medical Center. Depart at North Torrey Pines Road and La Jolla Shores Drive. Walk northeast through campus to your designated Conference Service Center (please see map). Please plan for an approximated two hour bus ride. From the Train Station Walk to First Ave. and Ash St. and take the #30 bus marked UCSD/UTC to the VA Medical Center. The #30 bus runs approximately every fifteen minutes. Depart at North Torrey Pines Road and La Jolla Shores Drive. The one-way fare is $2.25, and exact change is required. A transfer is free. To go the ERC Conference Service Center, continue straight until you reach Pangea Drive. Turn right and park in the parking structure on the left. Please note: Parking Permits are required five (5) days a week from 7am–11pm. Permits are not required on weekends. Permits are available at the Conference Service Center.
