On Tuesday, October 14, 2008, the U of T Scarborough Library opened its doors to students, faculty and staff as usual. The unusual part was that the Library will not close again until Friday, December 19.

U of T Scarborough Library has run two 24 hour pilot studies, one during the 2007/08 academic years - and a current study. The first study, run over the 2007/8 year, focused on providing 24/4 (Monday morning to Friday evening) study space only.
