2021 EXAMINATION SCHEDULE All exams are proctored at the Education Center (Bldg 220) in Classroom A at 0900. Check-in is 0845. Two picture IDs are required: CAC and another government-issued ID. Attire must be Service Uniform (no civilian clothing). This resource has been approved by DoD and is available to any service member • Free TABE Practice Test: https://www.testprepreview.com/tabe_practice.htm Free CLEP Courses Available Online A series of free online courses in CLEP subjects is now available through the Modern States Education Alliance. The courses are taught by college professors and delivered online via the Modern States website, https://modernstates.org/. All of the courses are free, as well as any required textbooks and other materials. DoD offers a tutor program online with live tutors, providing one-to-one help with homework. ACT & SAT practice tests, video lessons, etc. Active duty Service members, full time National Guard and Reserve members and their grades K-12 dependent children can get personalized help with test prep, proofreading and more. http://military.tutor.com/home DANTES Reimbursement Process DANTES automated the exam reimbursement process, making it easier and faster for members to apply online and receive repayment for select exams. While Service members can still take paper-based ACT and SAT exams at DANTES test sites, they are now eligible to be reimbursed for ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT, GED and PRAXIS exams at National Test Centers. If taking exams at the DANTES Test Center, service members are authorized ONE for ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT, GED and PRAXIS per lifetime of service. If exams are taken at the National Testing Center, service members are authorized up to two ACT and two SAT exams per lifetime of service when taken at an ACT or SAT National or International Test Center; testing conducted at commercial locations not on the military installation, and may be funded via after- the-fact reimbursement. Civilians are not eligible for reimbursement by DANTES. Funding Eligibility: 1. Must possess a current Geneva Conventions Common Access Card, CAC. 2. Applying to or enrolled in a school requiring the ACT or SAT, or fulfilling a legitimate Service requirement. 3. Agrees to apply for reimbursement no later than 90 days after the scheduled test date. National Test Centers function separately from DANTES Test Sites and may be defined as participating colleges, universities and professional test centers approved by the individual testing agencies to administer their respective exams.
