Decrease compared to the first two quarters. The end- of-year big rush did not happen, it was done in small steps. Bangladesh crushes the market with 48% of the tonnage to be scrapped far ahead of India (28%), then Pakistan (5%). 158 ships scrapped in Asia, 95% of the global tonnage. Of these, 60 were built in the European Union and Norway and 61 belonged to shipowners from the European Union or the European Economic Area.
