Wuqing is one of the 16 districts of Tianjin, locating in the suburbs between Tianjin and Beijing, Wuqing covers 1,574 km2 and is home to 1.1 million people. Wuqing is a major agricultural sector for Beijing-Tianjin with vegetables, cotton, wheat and corn. Wuqing has established industrial parks including National Wuqing Development Area, Wuqing Business District, and Tianjin Automobile Spareparts Park and Tianjin Carpet Park.

Shuming Zhong Deputy Head Tianjin Wuqing District Government

Mr. Zhong was born in July 1963 in Tianjin. He is currently the standing committee member of CPC Wuqing District Committee as well as the deputy head of Wuqing District government, responsible for service industries, tourism, domestic trade, grain supply. He used to serve in National Wuqing Development Area as well as its state owned development company. This area is the major industrial park in Wuqing district which focuses on the industries of IT, machinery, biotech, automobile and its spareparts, new materials and new energies.
