ABOUT THE POSITION The Commercial Business Analyst is responsible for organizing and managing key Commercial functions including forecasting, analysis, reporting, operations, process, systems and communications. This individual will work within the Commercial team, most closely with the Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams, ensuring timely business decisions are made in the best interest of the organization. o Position Title: Commercial Business Analyst o Position Type: Exempt o Location: Asheville, NC o Compensation range: o Reports to: CMO/COO o Travel: Occasional Event Support o Supervisory Responsibility: None DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Generate insights through analytics and data mining to improve decision making and Commercial efficiency • Build a management routine that encourages predictability, accountability and accuracy within the Commercial group • Enable the salesforce to adopt winning behaviors by providing training and access to sales content, data and assets • Deploy technology to increase the amount of time that reps spend selling and to automate key processes • Facilitate the Sales forecasting and Commercial planning process within the Sales organization and broader Commercial team • Manage and provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs • Assist in the development of internal audits and controls to ensure integrity of business process and data • Plan and execute tactical elements of sales to develop best practices and continuously improve effectiveness: sales methodologies, competencies, productivity metrics, objectives planning, compensation plan design, coverage models, territory design and department communications • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on the sales GTM process, tracking and administration of new sales campaigns and programs • Provide overall support and departmental coordination for the Commercial team, including ad hoc requests and projects REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • 5+ years of order management and/or sales operations experience • Previous experience in a sales operations or marketing operations role • Previous experience in MI is preferable • Experience with Sales and/or Marketing automation platforms SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Excellent organizational skills • Critical thinking and analysis • Data mining expertise • Comfort with automation and enablement platforms • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Strong customer service skills and ability to remain detail oriented in stressful situations • Basic knowledge of product assortment **This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
