Device Free eReader Apps

iBooks Apple® products including iPhone®, iPad®, and Mac® computers (with the latest iOS® 7). Download it from the iTunes® Store. Activating an Apple® device requires an iTunes® account registration. iBooks will sync your titles, notes and highlights across devices (ensure Laptop or ‘sync bookmarks’ is activated in iBook® settings). Desktop (PC or Mac®) *Adobe® Digital Editions (PC or Mac®) Activate an Adobe® ID registration as part of the app download process.

Notes and highlights do not sync in the cloud, however you can place eBooks on multiple devices registered to the same account by side-loading from computer to device.

Kindle® eReaders – Choose your device Kindle® Kindle® Apps are available free for most popular devices including Windows®, Mac®, iOS®, devices and Android™. Amazon account registration is required. MOBI file type only. Kindle® apps will sync your eBooks, notes and highlights across devices registered to the same account.

Nook™ eReaders – Choose your device Nook™ Nook™ Apps are available free for Nook and most popular devices including Windows®, devices Mac®, iOS®, and Android™. Barnes and Noble account registration is required. Nook™ n apps will sync your eBooks, notes and highlights across devices registered to the same account.

*LexisNexis® eBooks in the law school category and some larger treatise sets sold on the LexisNexis® Store require an Adobe® compatible eReader. All of the above eReaders require ePub file type except Kindle®. Always consult your device manufacturer’s web site for software recommendations.
