1964-39551 (Version 1) r:• DEC 1 0 1964 STATE OF TEXA COUNTY OF DALLAS Be it remembered that at a regular meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Dallas County, Texas, held on December 10, 1964, came on to be considered the matter of awarding contract for printing of $6,772,000 par value Dallas County Road District No. One Road Bonds; and, after due consideration, the following motion was made, seconded and passed: WHEREAS, the following quotations for printing of the above mentioned bonds were presented for consideration by the Court, to-wit: (a) Northern Bank Note Company $ 414.00 Plus $15.00 for each additional interest rate in excess of I (b) The Steck Company $ 453.00 Plus $12.00 for each additional interest rate in excess of I- (c) Helms Printing Company, Inc. $ 64.70 Plus $ 7.50 for each additional interest rate - in excess of 1 WHEREAS, the Northern Bank Note Company, being the lowest and best bid, it is in the opinion of the Court that the printing of bonds be and is hereby awarded to Northern Bank Note Company. IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED, ADJUDGED, and DECREED by the Court that on delivery and acceptance of the bonds the County Clerk and the County Auditor are hereby directed to issue warrant in payment to the said Northern Bank Note Company for the amount of $414.00 plus $15.00 for each additional interest rate in excess of 1.     Table 23 shows the total value of the CRA loans made to small businesses by institutions in Dallas County categorized by the median family income of the business applicant’s census tract. Columns two through four categorize the total amount loaned by the size of the loan. Column five shows the amount of money loaned to small businesses (revenue less than or equal to $1 million). Thirty-nine percent of Dallas County CRA loans went to businesses located in census tracts where family incomes are greater than 120% of the area median income for the DFW MSA. Around 15% of CRA dollars went to communities with median incomes below 50% of area median income. Significantly fewer CRA dollars are going to lower income census tracts; this disproportionately affects minority residents who are more likely to live in census tracts with lower median incomes.
