It offers an image of the situation in eastern Slovakia, which provides information about people from a perspective that is interesting for airlines investing in the area. Attention is paid to the national and international transport routes while keeping in mind airport´s availability. In the section dedicated to tourism, the thesis displays current information about visitors from abroad, as well as the amount of people travelling abroad, which has special importance in the development of new air connections. In the analytical part, thesis describes problems in comparison with competing airport, which include promotion of the airport, airfares and offered incentive programs. Finally it assumes conclusions, based on the analyzed data.
