But he eXplained to us on the phone yesterday that there was a WGA (Writers’ Guild) rule that you have to have two scripts a season written by someone who’s not on the writing staff so he was brought in by Aaron after Sports Night was cancelled and he pitched the idea of a filibuster episode. Pete cleverly realizing that there was just baked in conflict in a filibuster. Aaron took the idea and ran with it. And we’re also gonna discuss with our guest how he had influence on the story. This episode was directed by Bryan Gordon. It first aired on March 14 in the year 2001. HRISHI: Here’s the synopsis. Are you ready for synopsis? JOSH: Yes! Live read Hrishi.
