As a freelance Director Edwina’s skills include developing new works and testing the boundaries of genre. She is passionate about stories that use humour and bold theatricality to interrogate the contemporary world, as well as delighting and inspiring audiences.

Edwina grew up in Australia and relocated to in 2009 to study at University College London and then at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She has since worked in the UK as a freelance Director in opera and theatre. In 2015 she formed Flugelman Productions, a production company for the development of new work with emerging artists.
