CAMP BLUE RIDGE FINAL BUZZER 2021 ______Dear Blue Ridge, THE MESS HALL!!!!! Remember when we ate in tents and in shifts early on in the summer? It worked and it was fun to be together and be back at camp, but the day we announced we could all go back into the Mess Hall was a game-changer!! It’s like a switch was flipped and everything went from black and white to living color!!! Because you all were in compliance and we all stayed healthy and safe, we got the green light to go indoors sooner than anticipated, lose the masks and all be together! As much as we all dreamed about this for such a long time, even for those who hadn’t experienced full camp dining and singing before, I’m not sure any of us could have anticipated the thrill and pure joy of this experience!! It was electric!! Why was this “first” such a big deal? That’s actually very easy to answer!! We are a family in the truest sense of the word. I think for many of us, having a meal with family is special. Our camp family feels it too and it’s a tradition that is honored every day, three times a day. Even though we see one another regularly, there’s a particular kind of excitement that occurs in the Mess Hall, where big and little sisters, “pretend” sisters, campers and staff all get to visit and share pieces of their day and hug and kiss as if it’s been weeks, not hours, since they saw each other last. It’s pretty extraordinary to watch and to be part of and the fact that this feeling continues every single day throughout the summer is actually astounding and yet very ordinary. How lucky are we?! Of course the bonus to all this is our Mess Hall singing which further unites our camp and sets Blue Ridge apart from any other place. When seven year olds and seventeen year olds are singing the same songs with the same excitement and volume along with our staff who can barely contain themselves with each song, then you know you’ve got something!!! I really wish the rest of the world could mirror what we created here and what we get to enjoy daily in the best way possible. The spirit, warmth and sense of belonging at Blue Ridge makes us a super family and it makes us all realize that Blue Ridge is more than a place - it’s your heart! The Mess Hall dynamics represents one of the many examples that we constantly experience at CBR. As a family, we are also always helping one another in various ways. Perhaps the greatest joy in life is in helping others. Sharing and giving of yourself without thought of receiving something in return is joyous. It’s impossible to do something for someone else without doing something for yourself at the same time. The communication and relationships we all share is the key to our long term success and will even transcend our days at camp. I couldn’t be more proud to be part of this exceptional family. I hope when you all return home, you’ll keep singing our wonderful songs, teach them to your families (maybe even teach them how to lead!!), and keep our music and our family ties close to your hearts until we can all reunite at Blue Ridge and in our Mess Hall next summer. Love you all so much, Sheryl

A Note from Stef

Dear Girls of Blue Ridge, I want to thank you all for welcoming me into the CBR family and for sharing your traditions, your culture, and your spirit with me. Being here at camp with you all makes me feel like I am part of one big, warm, loving, and fun (and loud!) family. It’s been an absolute pleasure getting to meet you, laugh with you, and make memories with you. I feel very lucky to be a part of the CBR family and can now officially understand we why #weliveforthis. Summer 2021 was definitely worth the 22 month wait and I am already counting down the days until we’re back together again next year. Love Always, Stef

This summer has been most unique in so many ways. We had a challenge that the CBR Waterfront staff rose to meet head on with our staff consisting of seasoned, dedicated, talented lifeguards joined by our energetic newcomers from Australia, Columbia, Mexico and that far away land called Wisconsin which we are told is located somewhere in the colder regions of the Midwest. Read on. How did they eat breakfast so fast? They’re still munching on their waffles but here they come, the Lower Sophs, for the first period of the day. They are all super stars who eagerly engage with their instructors learning to kick, kick, kick, blow bubbles, touch the line and get better every day. Their greatest accomplishment was passing the deep-water test so they could have fun in the park. That’s 250 yards. Not too shabby! Not to be outclassed the Upper Sophs showed their stuff when it came to swimming like young mermaids. Whether it came to mastering the crawl stroke or taking on the butterfly, the Upper Sophs never stopped giving it their all. Great improvements were made in all our swimming groups and a pleasure it was to have a part in helping you progress. But we would be remiss if the achievements of the Juniors and the Kadettes were not duly noted. Up and down the lanes they went each day ever seeking to hone that kick or stroke. They got to pull up that zipper for freestyle. Yes, it’s not the same as front crawl (Gummi Bears if you can tell me why.) Ice cream eating in the pool for breaststroke was also a daily treat. And do we all recall when we first practiced the kick for butterfly and became dolphins? Onto the Afternoon Our largest and perhaps most energetic period is with the Inters, both Uppers and Lowers who decided to rename themselves in a novel touch. Most clever. They were afforded the opportunity to choose what they wanted to do each session. Great debates were held concerning what exactly is the best tasting color for Gummies and are sour gummies really gummies at all. It was resolved that only the Supreme Court should decide. Thank you to all for your stimulating sessions and a special thanks to my besties. Long live my BFFs and the Inters! Name change Things come and go. That is most true for the final period of the day. This time the Seniors were joined by the Mediates- told you this summer was unique- for a relaxing swim or a sun tanning session at the pool complete with music. Formerly known as the spa period we thought that a makeover was long overdue. Henceforth, period five will be called Club Blue Ridge. How about a juice bar? LGT , the PC’s, the Challenge I really enjoy working with all groups but I must say the ARC Lifeguard course that I get to teach is rather special. It has nothing to do with me. Rather it is because of the group of young ladies who work so hard to meet the standards for lifeguarding imposed by the American Red Cross. I have the opportunity to watch each grow and accomplish things that they never thought would be possible. They understand what it means to be true sisters to each other, to cheer each other on when the going gets tough and meet challenges that are placed before them. Simply put. You earn your red suits. Look to the sky. There may be a UFO nearby. The JC’s, aka the Elves You earned your elf ears. Thank goodness Amazon has everything in the world and delivers. Your help was awesome and without you it would have been not nearly as much fun. I never thought I would be rolled about the Amphitheater stage in a cart wearing a Santa Claus hat being pushed by reindeer. The Park and the Pool, muchas gracias A special thanks to Zoe Bridges for all her hard work, dedication and caring in making our many activities run so smoothly and for all that she does beyond this. Also, a special thank you to Rachel for how you step up each day to direct, lead and show your confidence in each and every activity. Billie, of course, your attention to detail and your skills make CBR a better place. Megan, what would the breast stroke be without you and our swimming talks? Sophie, I have never seen someone love Gummi Bears as much as you. Jo, I have also never seen anyone teach water polo as well as you. The girls loved it. Stef, our conversations were much appreciated and your willingness to help me speak better Spanish will be remembered. Maria, your musical song collection brought welcome breaks to our daily routines. Muchas gracias to all. Reflections On The Summer We did it again and without you and camp what would the summer be.Until we meet for the summer of 2022, all out check out. Cartwheeling with Chris

What an amazing summer returning back to our beautiful gymnastics center and much needed for everyone after what has been going on in the world this past year. I would like to thank my awesome gymnastics staff that have been great with the kids and bring their own personality to the squad. First, Lauryn Kashkin, who used to be a gymnast and now a dancer. I’ve known her since she was a Junior and was on the gymnastics team at camp. It’s crazy to think she is now coaching alongside me and has been a great addition to the gymnastics staff. I want to say a big Thank You to Lori, Julie, and all the group heads, who helped organize the campers for activities, minicamp, and extra gymnastics options for some of the girls making sure the gymnastics center is always filled. Last but certainly not least, I want to say thanks to all the Blue Ridge campers who make it down to gymnastics every day and bring the energy and enthusiasm to learn new skills whether they are gymnasts or not. Biggest thanks to some of the older campers in upper camp that are gymnasts that are always willing to help me coach some of the younger kids in lower camp. Thank you everyone for making the gymnastics center lively here in 2021. We won’t say goodbye because everyone knows it’s never goodbye with family. We shall just say have a good 10 until we reunite for an amazing 2 in summer 2022.

The Adventure Article “ Rope, Rope, Tyre, Tyre, Repeat” (The mantra for the oh so challenging ‘tyre’ section of the Challenge Course)

It’s been such a privilege to bring the Adventure program to CBR this year. It’s a privilege every year of course, but this one felt extra special because we missed you in 2020 and couldn’t wait to fill the trees with the call of zip-alpha-clear, the smell of outdoor cooking, and the screeches of joy as so many of you took on the challenge course elements with your usual determination and bravery. Plenty of crazy wet and windy weather tried but failed to dampen your adventurous spirits. Although it did seem like there were fewer raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries this year. Was that the rain’s fault, sweet-toothed wildlife, or are more campers enjoying these delicious super fresh snacks? With the challenge course now well and truly part of the furniture at CBR, it’s been inspiring to see so many of you commit to doing it for the first time, going a little bit further than the last time, or becoming so confident that you look a part of the staff team! And we include staff in that accolade as we have seen more and more counselours (and Group Heads!) giving Adventure a go than ever before. Thank you to one and all for a spectacular year.

Counting the days until we are all together again. Adventurously yours. Gina, Jay, Austen, Misael and Alain A MESSAGE FROM MEDIA Summer 2021 has been like no other to say the least. For the Media team it has been a wild ride. This year we had the opportunity to carry on traditions within the media team and expand into new territory. This is with the help of our Social Media Guru Rachel Rosenberg who has been working hard to share Blue Ridge life with the outside world and keep your families updated on all our events. Thank you Rachel for capturing those fun spontaneous moments and sharing what Camp Blue Ridge is to the rest of the world. Another media star this year who stepped up was Emma Cohen as our wonderful photographer. You have seen her whizzing around the mess hall and snapping away at evening activity. We thank you so much for stepping into the world of Media and snapping camp's great moments with a smile. You always see him around Blue Ridge in the distance as he approaches armed with his camera ready to grab the perfect picture. Give it up for Miguel! Have you ever seen a photographer like this? From Bunk photos to field activities, always nailing the perfect shot. I have most definitely saved the best for last; he needs no introduction, our media director Harvey! What would we do without Harvey? He has been here from the moment you arrived, capturing you at group sing, cheering on the fields, swimming in the lake, performing in the amphitheatre. You name it, he has been there for all of these special moments for you to hold onto. Throughout the rest of the year, when you find yourself missing camp (you know, basically everyday!), be sure to check out our YouTube channel to immerse yourself in amazing memories of this summer, and hold you over until we all get to be home again in 2022! I'm Ellis, thank you for reading my buzzer article for Summer 2021, back to you Lori!

SUNSCREEN, WATER, WASH YOUR HANDS! <3 JENNY@ THE HEALTH CENTER

Kickin’ Us Into Shape with Kim Fitness at The Ridge was filled with many new activities and much excitement! We had a full house this summer from sun up to shower hour. Some of our activities included body sculpting, boxing, pilates, weight training, and kettlebells mixed in with some H.I.I.T training and core cardio. A big hit this summer was when we introduced the HIIT Tabata workouts with Tabata music. The girls continued to train and learn more sports related to movements from the kinesis wall. Last but not least we added two new TRX suspension training straps for some additional resistance and core training, which is an excellent pairing to Pilates and Abs. A popular request at The Ridge was Abs, Abs, and more Abs. The CBR girls could not get enough of these workouts!! We also trained outside and around the CBR campus doing runs uphill, working on agility, speed and endurance. We added obstacle courses with boot camp style circuits, strength and flexibility stations using their own body weight, resistance training and jump ropes. For The Big Sis - Lil Sis events, the girls participated in the fitness obstacle courses and the fitness scavenger hunts together. Another big demand this summer was the timed challenge courses, relay races, hula hooping and jump rope contest. Anything to win something from “The Good Vibe’s Box”!! Our goal this summer was to introduce the many different possibilities of movement, to provide fitness-focused activities in a fun, safe, and non-intimidating environment, to boost the girls confidence by offering consistent and positive motivational support and teaching them to exercise safely with proper form consistently and effectively. Most of all we aim to encourage personal health, build friendships and to create fun memories! We started the summer with an empty binder and by the end of the 7th week of camp, we now have a collection of over 50+ workouts. Some were created for the group and some were custom made. Not one workout was ever the same. The BR girls had access to these any time they came to fitness. It was amazing to see so many girls returning daily with so much zest and passion for fitness! To our smiling campers who showed up day after day excited to come to fitness and continued to bring their energy and drive to exercise and who are the reason why we do what we do – thank you! These kids were committed, energetic, and eager to see and do the new workout of the day (W.O.D.)!! The BR girls were 100% ready to get their sweat on! We truly enjoyed getting to know and train such a fantastic group of girls. What a great summer we had and I can’t wait to see what summer 2022 will bring!! A big thank you to Jami Galant for taking the time out this summer to be part of my team and for all the hard work and dedication you gave everyday! The summer would not have been the same without you! And a big shout out: “When you have a trainer like that, then you’ve got something”

Awesome Art with Andrea Painting and Weaving and Beading, Oh my! The summer of 2021 was a creative masterpiece! Campers came to Arts and Crafts and The Ridge and expressed themselves in various ways. We painted, drew, sculpted, beaded, wove, just to name a few. Campers loved the familiar projects like friendship bracelets and beads, and then pushed themselves to new heights drawing mandalas, zentangle, op-art, and more. An amazing highlight every summer is Halloween when campers put their creativity to the test making costumes around themes like “Shower Hour”, “Visiting Day”, “Periodic Table” and so many others! Campers helped with props, costumes and backdrops for the plays this summer, adding an extra special element to every performance. Overall, art continues to be a fan favorite here at camp!

THE DOWN LOW FROM DANCE What an amazing time we had dancing the summer away here at CBR! Being brand new to camp, I am so happy to have met so many amazing and talented dancers. We had so much fun playing freeze dance, learning combinations, and putting together the dance show. Speaking of the dance show, I was blown away by the talent and dedication of each and every girl that performed. It was a pleasure to help create dances for such hardworking girls! It was not an easy feat to learn and perfect dances with such limited practice time! I couldn’t be happier with how the show turned out. I hope everyone had so much fun moving and grooving this summer and I look forward to dancing with you all again soon! <3, Kayleigh

Drama Draws a Crowd After a year without being around our friends, we were finally able to get up close and personal with live theater in the summer of 2021. These two months were full of fun, from our improv classes to 6 musicals. Never before has so much theater been seen in a summer of CECBR! There was no time to rest, as first year counselors we led the camp in rehearsing multiple shows at once. Despite all the adversity, including COVID, rain, storms and wind, there was never a lack of enthusiasm to have a good time with the classics that we love so much. Our shows this summer were all pulled from Disney movies. The Juniors kicked us off with a production of The Jungle Book. We could not have had a better start to the summer than the Junior girls singing The Bare Necessities in colorful animal costumes. Next up was the Kadettes performing Aladdin. The Kadettes threw themselves into rehearsals, practicing choreography at line-up and running lines in the bunks. When showtime arrived, they displayed A Whole New World of talent. Following soon after was the Lower Inters with Mary Poppins, a huge hit and our first co-ed play. Clad in black and white, our ensemble was Practically Perfect as they Stepped in Time. Next up, the Upper Inters took us under the sea with Little Mermaid. Equinunk and Blue Ridge joined together to admire the amazing work of 70 kids singing and dancing as one. Next, the Mediates and Collegiates, AKA the cast of Beauty and Beast made the Amphitheater their palace. They brought us energy, smiles and the one and only kick line of the summer. Closing out our season was the Sophomores show The Lion King. The adorable kids had huge smiles on their faces and energy that would make us stand up and dance with them anytime of the day! We would like to wrap this with some thank you’s; first, to the campers that were so invested in their roles and their work. Second to the group heads that organized and helped out during rehearsals, as well as to Julie and Lori who were always supporting us. We would also like to thank Andrea and Sara from Arts and Crafts for doing all the backdrops and all of the props, and finally to Sheryl and Richie For being our cheerleaders. Theater has taught all of us to work as a team, to be resilient and to have fun with others. Nothing can be more emblematic of the CECBR spirit!

SUPERB SOPHMORES It is hard to believe that we have come to the end of the summer. You all should be very proud of yourselves. Throughout the summer and especially during Color War, you all played your activities with athleticism, sportsmanship and spirit. Thank you all so much; we have truly loved every moment being in the Sophmore group.

For many of you, it was your first summer, and you have all turned into true Blue Ridge girls. We had so many great times this summer. Sing was great and you all showed your Sophmore Spirit. We both smile when we think about all the great times we had together: line dancing, The Lion King, Carnival, statues, s’mores, bunk plaque night, the magician, the hypnotist, disco, all the big sister events and Cabaret.

A huge thank you to all the Sophmore counselors for your hard work, patience and caring. You have helped make the group fun, spirited and memorable. You all have been the best counselors and the campers were lucky to have you. Enjoy your winter and good luck with your school year, travels and jobs.

Sophmores- have a great winter! Thanks for the memories and we will see you in 2022! When you got a group like that then you got something!

Adventures With Amy Everyone who saw the Kadettes this summer could tell that we were having the time of our lives! We jumped out of our cars and got into the spirit right away, beginning our never-ending laughter and fun. We immediately jumped into our play, Aladdin, and, after 2 years, it was certainly “a whole new world” here at Blue Ridge! Sing was a great night for the Kadettes as we proved that “as a group we’re goals” and that “we’re the most fun it’s official”. We also had an amazing time participating in leagues as the Hornets, Green Wave, Blue Hens, and Wolverines! Your leadership during Color War was exemplary as you led the lower camp with spirit and sportsmanship. Your games were hard-fought and a lot of fun to watch during the whole 4 days. The success of the summer would not have been possible without my outstanding Kadette counselors. Maddie, Fiona, Megan, Lauren, Bella, Jo, Cori, and Ava, you all rock- thank you so much. Good luck with everything you do this year and I hope to see you back at CBR next summer. Cori- Once again, you amaze me...I’m truly so privileged that I’ve had you by my side for the past 2 summers. Your compassion, inclusivity, and attention to everyone’s needs is unmatched by anyone. I’m so proud of the person that you have become- I’ll miss the hugs, but I know that I’ll see you in NYC this year! Well, Kadettes...this is it. You leave lower camp with phenomenal spirit, and you are ready to take the upper camp by storm. You are now on the road to 2026. Savor every minute- time goes by quickly! Have an amazing school year and I look forward to seeing you as the 2022 Lower Inters. Love Always, Amy Scheck PC 2002 Blue University Chief 2008

Jordyn’s Jargon To my amazing Inter Girls of 2021, This summer could not have come soon enough. We NEEDED this summer: the genuine joy, silliness at group line ups, and crazy dance moves in the bunk. You all jumped into upper camp with a curiosity and excitement that was contagious. It feels like last week that we were settling into our first year in upper camp. Thank you for spending each day choosing to make it a great day, trying new activities, enjoying our nuggets of wisdom™, and living each day to the fullest. This summer would not have been possible without our ROCKSTAR counselors: Rachel Rosenberg, Rachel Weissglass, Julia Soleymani, Emma Cohen, Sara Rodriguez, and Julia Fine. I can never say thank you enough for everything that you do each day. The Lower Inters of 2021 would not have been the same without you! A very special thank you to the most amazing assistant grouphead Rachel. Our influencer and media team lead, lacrosse specialist, pest control expert, and parent to Moises (camper #45). There are not enough words for me to express how grateful I am to have you help lead the Lower Inters of 2021. Thank you for ALL that you do! There are so many memories to highlight from this summer. Some of my favorite moments were our nuggets of wisdom™ at line up, flag football, Leagues (“Who let the dogs out??”), and of course our play Mary Poppins. Thank you for your positive attitude, your energy, your spirit, your enthusiasm, and most of all your love for camp and each other. I consider myself lucky that I got to be your grouphead. It was worth the two year wait! I will miss you all throughout the winter (good luck to those girls with their bat mitzvahs)! Work hard, have fun, make it a great year, and I cannot wait to see you back here for summer 2022! Love, Jordyn Margolis PC 2011 Grey Destiny 2017

I can’t say enough about the amazing summer we had The thought of you going home makes me really sad We waited 22 months for this chance to be back together If only summer 2021 could go on forever

On the courts and fields you are supreme Your athleticism and enthusiasm is truly extreme In your league games we put you to the test Proving to everyone which mascot team was the best

When it was time to perform, on the stage you shined Whether it was your singing, your dancing, or the costumes you designed Our character study sing-a-long was a funny night We know it’s weird that Arielle falls in love with a stranger, alright? You worked really hard to make the play great The extra days of practice made it worth the wait

Nothing makes me happier than spending time with you Talking and dancing the whole day through Getting to all your bunks can feel like doing a relay But running around is worth it so I can say hey

I hope these 7 weeks gave you some much needed elation Camp really is the greatest vacation It was worth every nose swab and spit test Upper Inters 2021 are the very best Have an amazing fall twenty twenty-one and spring twenty-two I can’t wait to be back in camp with all of you!

Blue Ridge Seniors of Twenty Twenty One How did this summer go by so quickly? PC’s and Lowers, our team is such fun. You guys are really the best quite simply.

Everything fab; a good time had by all. July 4th, uniting the colonies! At the fields and the pool we had a ball. Our show Moana was high quality!

Mascot Mornings with the best of the best. The Nitt’ny Lions were victorious! Spent summer days having fun, feeling blessed. We knew blue and grey would be glorious.

Wish our EPIC Blue Ridge summer won’t end… Seniors will COMEBACK with all of our friends!

LIVIN’ IT UP WITH LAZ To my lovely, beautiful JCA girls… How is this summer already over? It’s really insane thinking back to the day we arrived when there were so many unknowns, and now we’ve made it to the end. I cannot begin to explain how lucky I feel to have been your grouphead this summer. As most of you know, you are the first ‘new’ group of campers that I’ve had since 2012. Every year for the past 9 summers, I’ve been a counselor or grouphead for a group that I had in a previous summer, and you guys are the ones who changed that. I couldn’t ask for a better group of girls to experience this summer with. Although I was never in your group when you were younger, it has been such a privilege watching each of you grow this summer. You absolutely killed it each and everyday as you helped out in different groups, counselored for bunks, lifeguarded, and ran activities. You are so loved by every camper you work with, and I can’t wait to watch what amazing counselors you become next year. Your campers are going to be OBSESSED with you - I can already tell! In addition to all of the hard work you did, there were so many fun times we had this summer. Although some things were different than they have been for past CAs, we still were able to attend our tropical luau at Sheryl’s, order POUNDS of italian food, and tube on the Delaware. Through all of that, I think we can all agree that the most memorable moment of 2021 was when you successfully raised the roof with your strength & might. Anyway, I really want you guys to know how special you are to me. I really don’t know how I could have done this summer without each and every one of you. You made each day an adventure and I cannot wait to see you be the sickest counselors. I will miss this summer and each of you so much. Have an AMAZING senior year!!

Xoxo, Laz

A FINAL FAREWELL Narrator enters: The air is changing, the white flowers bloom on the trees by the Social Hall and thus signals the closing of another camping season. As I put the finishing touches on our final Buzzer, I am reflecting on what an epic comeback this summer has been. I had the rare privilege of spending time at camp in 2020. In fact, I was the sole resident of Blue Ridge for a time and amongst the quiet I realized that this land waits patiently for us. Blue Ridge is the singing, the laughter, the connections, the memories, the traditions and our ritual return year after. It is always an impossible task to integrate the enormity of camp’s impact in our lives, but for sure camp is our rock and our redeemer. Summer 2021 came in like a storm but it was meant to be! Things were not not good- from the Lion King, to the July 4th play, Club 2242 and everyone’s favorite activity, sorting mail! I will miss holding sea urchins, claiming the joy of being alive, moon shadows, founding fathers, witnessing staff supporting campers and creating fun, being in SLO MO, riding at dawn, picking songs with llama, rubber balls, running for our lives, decorating for evening activities and having everything I need. It was necessary this year to be reminded of the sense of belonging that is bolstered by these moments of shared joy. I wish for you all the grounding and presence that comes from belonging to this place and to yourselves. There is always a sweet grief that comes with leaving which lands as a reminder in my heart to be grateful that we share something worthy of this ache. Enjoy your remaining months apart and may we all return together joined in friendship...... Adieu to Blue Ridge, Adieu, Adieu, Adieu… Lindsay Kryger #93-21-? Blue Come Back 2021 Alma Mater Blue Old Alma Mater (Blue 1995) Tune: Who Am I to Stand in Your Way Tune: Bless the Broken Road

Blue team singing before you Came upon a special place Reflecting on camp days Many years ago As times passing by Hoping I would find somewhere Remember the years shared I could call my home With friends who turned fam’ly And what I found was something rare Place that is so rare Never be the same again Now we know why Through the year I count the days With you we will remain That lead me straight to you

The lessons you’ve taught us Chorus: Have helped shape who we are With every hope and dream Keep them in our heart Want to be where you are When you’re near or you’re far Blue Ridge you’re in my heart See the change taking hold Whether I’m near or far You’ve shown us the way Always shown me the way Shown us the way, shown us the way Friends I hold in my arms You’ve shown us the way This much I know is true That we all are family Tonight we are passing Camp Blue Ridge I love you The torch we’ve been given Our legacy lasting Think about the years I’ve spent It’s all thanks to you Coming home to you For what we are made of Each day is a precious gift Is what we have learned here To be with Grey and Blue Tonight leading with love But you just smile and take my hand With bonds so true You’ve been there you understand With you we will remain Summer days pass quickly by We’re holding on to you The lessons you’ve taught us Have helped shape who we are Chorus Keep them in our heart When you’re near or you’re far Repeat Chorus from line 5 (Always shown) See the change taking hold Last line: You’ve shown us the Camp Blue Ridge we love you Way you stay frozen remains our constant Blue Ridge traditions instilled go beyond and See the change taking hold You’ve shown us the way Shown us the way, shown us the way You have shown us the way
