INTRODUCTIONS M. Simmons welcomed everyone to the Storengy Local Liaison Committee (LLC). A. Leadbetter described the LLC meeting agenda. 2. PROGRESS AT STUBLACH AND WHAT IS HAPPENING ON SITE OVER THE NEXT 3 MONTHS J. O’Donnell presented an overview of the progress of the Stublach Phase 2 development together with a description of the planned work for the next three months. From August to December 2017 major civils works have taken place on the Gas Plant to construct the foundations for the two new compressors and dehydration units. Three caverns have had their final work-overs to prepare them for conversion to gas operations in 2018. In Quarter 1 2018 two more caverns will have had their final work-overs to prepare them for conversion to gas operations. 3. STORENGY LOW CARBON COMMUNITY FUND Storengy is offering £40,000 of funding to help improve the energy efficiency of community buildings in the parishes of Allostock, Byley, Lach Dennis, Lostock Gralam and Rudheath. It is hoped Storengy’s Community Fund will deliver energy efficiency improvements that will demonstrate to the local community the benefits of new technologies and will be a catalyst for them to make energy improvements in their own homes. For Low Carbon Community Fund queries Please contact J O’Donnell (John.O’[email protected]) Lostock Green Methodist Church Hall The proposed energy efficiency improvements to Lostock Green Methodist Church Hall were presented: • Replacement PVC windows (3) • Replacement Door • Insulate existing External Door • Replace Light fittings with low energy units and install additional sensors • Replace Existing Boiler • Upgrade Boiler Management system and monitoring controls It was agreed that the proposed improvements could be supported by the Low Carbon Community Fund. Storengy agreed to funding any insulation associated with the roof replacement. Details were provided of insulation requirements. ACTION: Confirm the timing of rePlacement works and confirm if the quotation covers all the insulation for the roof rePlacement – F Still Lostock Gralam Community Centre Email received from Liz Wood with quotations for: • Fire Door • Loft Insulation • LED Lighting • Ventilation Fans • Emergency Exit lighting No parish councillor attended the meeting ACTION: Contact Liz Wood and arrange a visit to community centre – J O’Donnell Rudheath Youth Centre No parish councillor attended the meeting Byley Village Hall Email received via CWAC from John Beecroft requesting funding for solar panels. No parish councillor attended the meeting ACTION: Contact John Beecroft and arrange visit to Byley – J O’Donnell 4. OPEN FORUM No further questions were raised. 5.
