The 2014/2015 fiscal year was of particular importance as the Council concluded the final year of its three-year term. I extend sincere appreciation to the members of this dignified body for the valuable policy advice they provided during their tenure. I am also grateful for the pivotal role the Council played in the legislative review process as we seek to institutionalize systems and procedures to propel the transformation of the education system. The Council’s contribution has assisted the Ministry of Education in making solid progress in this aspect of its work. I extol the stewardship of the Board which guided the organization throughout the past year and welcome the new members who will join us for the 2015/2018 period. I look forward to working with this team of governors to stimulate, develop, advise and promote consensus in the development of educational policies.
