Subject: Constitution of District Level Standing Committee, in order to improve border security along Indo-Pakistan Border. Ref.: MHA No. 17024j07j2016-BM.I dated 17.04.2018. Government Order No. 6b~ - Home of 2018 Oat e d: ~q -05-2018 Sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of a District Level Standing Committee, comprising the following officers, to improve border security along Indo-Pakistan Border: -

1 . District Maqistrate Chairman 2 District Superintendent of Police Member 3 BSF Commandant Member 4 Representative of IB/ R&AW/Customs/ CID/ Member Military Intelligence/Naval Intelligence (wherever available)

The mandate of the above District Level Standing Committee will be as under:-

a) The District Level Standing Committee will discuss/monitor the relevant reports of Border Security at field level; b) The Committee will also deliberate on various coordination issues and support State Level Standing Committee; c) The Committee will meet on monthly basis; d) It will submit copy of its proceedings to State Level Standing Committee as well as to MHA.
