[email protected] Experience IE UNIVERSITY Madrid, Spain 2017-present Dean, School of International Relations Rafael del Pino Professor of Practice of Global Leadership Founding Director, Center for the Governance of Change • Drafted the strategy, curricular and faculty development plan, and led the institutional relations of this major School of international relations with over 750 students and 70 faculty members. • Executed all elements of the strategy aimed at increasing the degrees offered, undergraduate and graduate students served, and research produced at the School. • Founded and directed the Center for the Governance of Change, an institutions with the goal of studying and providing solutions to the challenges brought by accelerated change. HARVARD UNIVERSITY Cambridge, MA, USA 2017-present Senior Associate, Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs • Co-Founded the Transatlantic Initiative at the Belfer Center and helped run many of its activities. • Co-Directed the annual Transatlantic Conference in Spain, run in partnership with IE University and the Rafael del Pino Foundation. • Helped on the search for the Fundación Rafael del Pino-MAEC fellow that spent a year at Harvard’s Kennedy School doing research and attending courses. 2015-2017 Director, Program on Transatlantic Relations, Weatherhead Center for International Affairs • Led this Program’s activities including workshops, lectures and keynotes with leading academics and practitioners on the following topics: security, trade, energy, science and technology, and geopolitics in the Atlantic space, including Ibero-America. • Led the search for Program affiliates including pre-docs, post-docs and a Visiting Professor. • Coordinated the Talloires Conference, an annual gathering of senior scholars and policymakers in the south of France that addressed topics of relevance for transatlantic relations.
