His child is then shown to be trapped in the hotel with several other strikingly similar children under the care of Countess Elizabeth — a shock we all knew was coming. When I first received word of the tragedy that unfolded at Umpqua Community College, a senseless shooting in which 10 innocent lives were lost, I didn’t know what to feel. There was only sadness.
