PRÉSIDENTE DU JURY 2019 Marianne Denicourt (France, Comédienne, réalisatrice et scénariste.) Marianne Denicourt débute à l’écran dans L’Argent de Robert Bresson. Elle étudie le théâtre sous la direction de Patrice Chéreau à l’Ecole des Amandiers de Nanterre, réalisateur avec qui elle à trois occasions: à l’écran dans Hôtel de France, sur scène dans Platonov et au Festival d’Avignon où elle incarne Ophelie dans Hamlet. Elle se consacre par la suite au cinema et tourne avec Jacques Doillon , Benoit Jacquot, Michel Deville ,Claude Lelouch, Jacques Rivette, Arnaud Desplechin. Romain Goupil, Raoul Ruiz, Claude Lelouch, Thomas Lilti. Elle est aussi la réalisatrice de deux documentaires : Une Maison à Kaboul et Nassima, une Vie Confisquée.

Marianne Denicourt started on screen in L’Argent by Robert Bresson. She studies acting under Patrice Chéreau at the Ecole des Amandiers, director she will work with on three occasions: on screen in Hôtel de France, on stage in Platonov et at the Avignon Festival where she plays as Ophelia in Hamlet. She then commits to movies and shoots with Jacques Doillon, Benoît Jaquot, Michel Deville Claude Lelouch, Jacques Rivette, Arnaud Desplechin. Romain Goupil, Raoul Ruiz, Claude Lelouch, Thomas Lilti. She also directed two documentaries : Une Maison à Kaboul and Nassima , une Vie Confisquée. Babak Karimi (Iran, Acteur) Acteur italo-iranien. Son lien est à la fois en Italie et en Iran. Vainqueur ex equo de l’Ours d’argent au festival de Berlin en tant que meilleur acteur pour le film « Une Séparation » d’Asghar Farhadi (Oscar du meilleur film étranger 2012) avec lequel il a également collaboré pour « Le Passé » et « Le Client » (Oscars 2017 du meilleur film étranger). Il a collaboré avec Shahram Mokri pour Fish & Cat et Incasion, Mattia Torre « La Linea Verticale » et Roberto Andò « Una Storia Senza Nome ».

He collaborated with Shahram Mokri on Fish & Cat et Incasion, Mattia Torre « La Linea Verticale » et Roberto Andò « Una Storia Senza Nome ». Danny Lennon (Canada, Programmateur) Danny Lennon a fondé, en 1999, Prends ça court! qui célèbre et soutient le court métrage international et le cinéma québé- cois. Il en est toujours le programmateur. Il est également à l’origine et programmateur de l’initiative Talent tout court fondée en 2012 en collaboration avec Téléfilm Canada. Lennon contribue de toutes les manières imaginables à la promotion, à la distribution, à la diffusion et à la production du court métrage indépendant et professionnel d’ici et d’ailleurs. Danny organise aussi le Gala Prix Prends ça court!, la grande soirée du court métrage québécois.

Danny Lennon founded Prends ça court! in 1999 which celebrates and supports international and quebec short films. He still is i charge of the progamme there. He also founded the «Talents tout court» initiative in 2012 in cooperation with Téléfilm Canada. Lennon contributes in all possible ways to the promotion, distribution and production of professional and independent short film making. Danny also organizes the Prix Prends ça court! Chantal Fischer (France, Productrice) Après avoir été responsable de politiques publiques (PACA, Franche-Comté), Chantal Fischer est actuellement productrice au sein de 13 productions, où elle développe des projets de cinéma et de fiction télévisée. Elle est également chargée des questions artistiques chez Cinefeel prod, un fonds d’investissement privé.

After being a public policy officer (PACA, Franche-Comté), Chantal Fischer is now a producer at 13 Productions, whe she develops film and tv projects. She’s also an artistic consultant for Cinefeed, a private investment fund. 10 Massimo Iannetta (Belgique, réalisateur) Massimo Iannetta a étudié la réalisation cinéma à l’INSAS (Bruxelles). Réalisateur, il a aussi collaboré au scénario de plusieurs documentaires, a été chargé de programmation pour le festival Filmer à tout Prix (Bruxelles) et a, entre autres, dirigé l’Atelier de Production (Bruxelles). Il est co-réalisateur, avec Nina Toussaint, du film « La Décomposition de l’âme ».

Massimo Ianetta studied film direction ath the INSAS in Brussels. He’s a director but he also collaborated on the writing of several documentarie and was a programme manager for Filmer à tout Prix (Brussels) et has directed the Production Workshop in Brussels. He codirected the film «La Décomposition de l’âme» with Nina Toussaint. Fred Prémel (France, Producteur) Après des études à peu près scientifiques, il obtient une maîtrise d’études cinématographiques à Rennes. Il débute sur les plateaux de tournage où il se forme comme cambrioleur, puis devient directeur de production. Il Par la suite producteur exécutif, il fonde Tita Productions à Marseille où il est resté pendant 10 ans. La société produit des films français plutôt cool, et s’engage sur des coproductions internationales, principalement avec l’Amérique Latine. En 2016 il crée une seconde société, TITA B, mais cette fois en Bretagne, pour se rapprocher des goélands. En 2020, il projette de créer TITA C, en Corse ou au Costa Rica.

After aproximately scientific studies, he owns a Masters degree in filmic studies in Rennes. He starts out on sets where he learns burglary and then becomes a producer. He becomes an executive producer and founds Tita Productions in Marseille where he lived for 10 years. His company produces rather cool French films and works as an international coproducer mainly with South America. In 2016 he founds Tita B in Britanny to get closer to the sea gulls. In 2020 He plans on founding Tita C in Corsica or in Costa Rica. Maricetta Lombardo (Italie, Ingénieure du son) Formée au ‘Centro Sperimentale di Cinematorgrafia’ de Rome. A l’adolescence il fréquente le ciné-club d’Alger puis celui de Bordeaux et Lyon. En 1981 à La Ciotat il fonde – avec Jean-Louis Tixier et Albert Audy – le Berceau du Cinéma. De 1982 à 2013 il participe à la bataille pour le sauvetage de l’EDEN. En 2018 il intègre l’équipe du Best Of International Short Films Festival.

From the age of 10 he’s been in love with the Big screen. He clears his grandma’s henhouse and makes it a screening room with an 8mm projector showing «The bicyle thief» by Vittoria De Sica and The «Tiger of Eschnapur» by Fritz Lang. As a teenager he goes to the mvie club in Algiers then Bordeaux and Lyon. In 1981 in La Ciotat he founds, with Jean- Louis Tixier and Albert Audry, Le Berceau du Cinéma film festival. From 1982 to 2013 he joins the struggle to save the Eden Theater. In 2018 he joins the Best of Festival crew.

93 L’ACCOMPAGNEMENT À LA DIFFUSION

Territoire du Festival de Cannes, le plus grand et le plus prestigieux festival de cinéma au monde, la Région Sud Provence-Alpes- Côte d’Azur est aussi le lieu d’une multitude d’autres festivals et manifestations consacrés au cinéma et à l’audiovisuel.

PARTAGER SA PASSION : LES AIDES AUX FESTIVALS Soucieuse d’étendre les territoires de la cinéphilie et de faciliter la diffusion des œuvres cinématogra- phiques et audiovisuelles de qualité, la Région Sud participe au financement de festivals et manifestations sur l’ensemble du territoire, couvrant tous les genres (documentaire, fiction, court et long métrage, nouveaux médias). Pour la Région Sud, l’accès des jeunes aux œuvres cinématographiques et audiovisuelles de qualité est une priorité. C’est ainsi que les festivals sont encouragés à accueillir les jeunes spectateurs à travers leur programmation et grâce aux moments de découverte et de rencontres avec les auteurs, réalisateurs, comédiens ou producteurs. FIDÉLISER LE PUBLIC : LES AIDES AUX SALLES En soutenant les réseaux de cinémas indépendants et les circuits itinérants, la création et la modernisa- tion des salles indépendantes, de proximité et labellisées « art et essai », la Région Sud favorise l’accès à la diversité de la création cinématographique et audiovisuelle pour tous et sur l’ensemble du territoire régional. La première salle de cinéma au monde toujours en fonctionnement, l’Éden Théâtre, a été créée à La Ciotat, à la fin du XIXe siècle, là où les frères Lumière ont tourné « L’arrivée d’un train en gare de La Ciotat » en 1895. Pour moderniser les salles de cinéma et leur permettre d’offrir à leurs spectateurs de meilleures condi- tions pour découvrir les films, la Région Sud propose des aides à l’investissement, consultables dans l’annuaire des aides.
