During this time he concurrently served as a Reservist in the British Special Air Service. Pugh had his first real swimming lesson in 1986, at the age of 17. One month later he swam from Robben Island (where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned) to Cape Town. In 1992 he swam across the English Channel. In 2002 he broke the record for the fastest time for swimming around Robben Island. Tango After Dark Peacock Theatre www.idta.co.uk reports argentine tango A Guide to Basics and Beyond Part 2 Stefanos Chatzigeorgiou & Valentina Dragatsi It was a great pleasure to be invited to attend the recent launch of the new Argentine Tango book and DVD, A Guide to Basics and Beyond Part 2 by Stefanos and Valentina. The event was held at a beautiful old style theatre in the centre of Athens, a very keen, knowledgeable and enthusiastic audience were keen to view this new book and DVD. A natural follow on to the initial publication, this brand new book, accompanied by a comprehensive instruction DVD has long been anticipated. The written work is clear and easy to understand, while the video presentations are constructed showing not only solo but couple demonstrations this brings the figures to life and easy to follow. The new book, written and illustrated by Stefanos Chatzigeorgiou and his wife Valentina Dragatsi is available through the IDTA shop.
