Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. Sec. 252, the following is a claim to royalty fees for secondary transmissions by cable television systems during the period January 1, 1998 through December 31, 1998.

I. CLAIMANT — King Broadcasting Company, licensee oftelevision station KING-TV, Seattle, WA, and A.H. Belo Corporation, its parent corporation.

(A) All station produced programming (including newscasts, public affairs, children' programming and sporting events broadcast on this station);

(B) The station's entire broadcast day as compilation;

(C) Programs produced by KING-TV and broadcast on other stations during 1998, including but not limited to "Almost Live!", which was broadcast during 1998 on KONG-TV, Seattle, Washington.

III. EXAMPLES OF DISTANT CABLE CARRIAGE IN 1998:

"Evening Magazine" was broadcast on KING-TV, Ch. 5, and retransmitted by Falcon Cable, Ellensburg, Washington, on July 15, 1998, at 7PM.
