Description Castleton House is a stunning country house surrounded by wonderful gardens in a secluded private location on the Argyll coastline. The house is thought to date from the early 18th century when it was built under a slate roof. Around the millennium it was significantly extended and upgraded to include an architectural award winning new wing which was built by local craftsmen to a very high specification. The house is entered through a curved oak door into a circular turret hall which has a sweeping balustrade staircase to the galleried landing.
