Sites Proposals Broadland District Council Local Development Framework Proposed Site Allocations and Area Action Plan DPDs List of Sites This is a list of potential development sites, accompanying the maps of the sites, on which the Council is consulting for their possible inclusion in the Council’s Local development Framework. Table 1 sets out sites recently put forward to the Council by agents and landowners etc, together with certain “allocations” from the current Local Plan that have not yet happened. Table 2 is a more general list of “other potential sites”, most of which have been included in the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment undertaken as part of the Joint Core Strategy work. Some other sites that were put forward to the Council previously have also been included. Many of the sites in Table 2 will be the same as, similar to, or overlapping the sites contained in Table 1. The lists includes a specific site reference, the proposed use and the name of the relevant parish / settlement. Some sites may overlap parish boundaries, or be adjacent to a settlement but within a different parish. Therefore, if you are interested in a particular parish it is advisable to also consider sites listed under adjoining parishes. In making comments on a site please use the appropriate reference from the site maps, having regard to Table 1, or Table 2 if necessary. • Parish Registers and Transcripts in the Norfolk Record Office
Parish Registers and Transcripts in the Norfolk Record Office This list summarises the Norfolk Record Office’s (NRO’s) holdings of parish (Church of England) registers and of transcripts and other copies of them. Parish Registers The NRO holds registers of baptisms, marriages, burials and banns of marriage for most parishes in the Diocese of Norwich (including Suffolk parishes in and near Lowestoft in the deanery of Lothingland) and part of the Diocese of Ely in south-west Norfolk (parishes in the deanery of Fincham and Feltwell). Some Norfolk parish records remain in the churches, especially more recent registers, which may be still in use. In the extreme west of the county, records for parishes in the deanery of Wisbech Lynn Marshland are deposited in the Wisbech and Fenland Museum, whilst Welney parish records are at the Cambridgeshire Record Office. The covering dates of registers in the following list do not conceal any gaps of more than ten years; for the populous urban parishes (such as Great Yarmouth) smaller gaps are indicated. Whenever microfiche or microfilm copies are available they must be used in place of the original registers, some of which are unfit for production. A few parish registers have been digitally photographed and the images are available on computers in the NRO's searchroom. The digital images were produced as a result of partnership projects with other groups and organizations, so we are not able to supply copies of whole registers (either as hard copies or on CD or in any other digital format), although in most cases we have permission to provide printout copies of individual entries.

I have extensive financial experience having joined Hellesdon High School as Finance Manager in September 2013; previously I was employed as a Finance Support Manager at Norfolk County Council for 3 years. I have previous experience of working as Management Accountant for Omar Homes for six years; I am ACCA qualified and have a BA (Hons) in Politics and Sociology. I was a Governor of White Woman Lane and Old Catton Federation and also a Community Governor at Garrick Green Infant School. I have undertaken numerous cycle challenges for charity including riding from Lands’ End to John O'Groats in 2015. The Reverend Christopher Engelsen Born near Southend, I can just about claim to be an East Anglian. I went to school in Ringmer, East Sussex and discovered my love of music and literature and a sense of calling to be a priest. Coming to Norwich in 1978, I worked at Moss Bros, and studied evenings at City College, before going to train for the ministry at Lincoln Theological College. Ordained as a deacon at Norwich Cathedral in 1986 (and priest in 1987), I served my curacy in Sprowston, then a second curacy in Harrogate. • Consultation on Planning Applications Site Between Wroxham Road
Planning Committee 1 February 2013 Agenda Item No 9(ii) Consultation on Planning Application: Erection of Up to 3,520 Dwellings, 16,800 m2 Employment Space, 8,800 m2 Shops, Services, Cafes and Restaurants plus Hotel Accommodation, Two Schools, Community Space, Energy Centre, Cycle and Vehicle Parking, Public Open Space and Accesses on Site between Wroxham Road, Sprowston and St Faiths Road, Old Catton Report by Head of Development Management Summary: The Broads Authority has been consulted by Broadland District Council in respect of an application for a mixed use development on land to the north of Norwich. Recommendation: That no objection is raised to the application, but that comments are made regarding landscaping, bio-diversity mitigation and off- setting. 1 Background 1.1 The Joint Core Strategy (JCS) for Norwich City, Broadland District and South Norfolk Councils identifies 37,000 houses and 27,000 jobs to be delivered in the Greater Norwich Area up to 2026. The JCS was adopted in 2011, however, following a partially successful legal challenge in 2012, parts of it have been remitted back to the three authorities for repair. The revised JCS was submitted to the Secretary of State before Christmas. As part of the “repair” process the GNDP have identified that a floating small sites allowance of 2,000 homes is appropriate for the Broadland part of the Norwich Policy Area (NPA) leaving 7,000 new homes to be appropriately located within the NPA. The revised JCS “allocates” 7,000 dwellings north east of Norwich (including 25 hectares of employment land at Rackheath.
