Masterclasses and workshops with Dame Anne Evans : This is an incredible opportunity to see one of the greatest Wagnerian singers of all time. Dame Anne has appeared at the Bayreuth Festival in the role of Richard Wagner's Brünnhilde for four consecutive seasons with Daniel Barenboim conducting and at the Deutsche Oper Berlin for five. In Britain she performed the role under Bernard Haitink at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and with the Welsh National opera. This weekend she passes on her expertise in this particular role to Rachel Nichols one of her protegés and the new outstanding Brünnhilde for the Longborough Festival under Maestro Anthony Negus, who is also in attendance in a coaching capacity as preparations begin for the three Ring Cycles in 2013.
