Directions to Alte Nervenklinik / Clinic of Neurology on Charité Campus

The lecture will take place in the Clinic of Neurology at Charité Campus Mitte. The Clinic of Neurology’s internal address on campus is: Bonhoefferweg 3 (marked in green on map).

On foot The most convenient entrance to the Campus is the one from Luisenstraße (arrow D). There is a passage under the building numbered 9 on the map, which will lead you directly to it.

By cab Tell the cab driver to take you to Charité Campus Mitte − Charité has several campuses in ! The driver can either drop you at the Luisenstraße entrance opposite the high-rise building ( Bettenhaus , arrow D on map) or it can enter the hospital grounds by passing through the gates at Schumannstraße 20/21 (address recently changed to: Charitéplatz 1, arrow A on map) and drop you off right in front of our building.

Arrivals by train From central station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof) you can walk to the building in about 15 minutes: Leave the station at the exit Invalidenstraße, turn right and walk down the road (across the river) towards the city center following the black arrow. Turn right as indicated until you get to Luisenstraße which will take you to the most convenient entrance (see above).

From Friedrichstraße (S-Bahn station or subway) take bus 147 to Luisenstraße/Charité. Cross the street and enter through the entrance marked arrow D on the map.

Arrivals by plane From Schönefeld airport take the S-Bahn to Friedrichstraße and proceed as described.

From Tegel airport take the express bus TXL to Hauptbahnhof and proceed asdescribed. Or you can take the bus to subway station Kurt-Schumacher-Platz (). Get on the train in direction Alt- and get off at Zinnowitzer Straße. Walk down Invalidenstraße for about 500 m to Platz vor dem neuen Tor (enter at arrow E). The one-way ride by regular bus or U-Bahn is €2.30,

A cab ride from Tegel airport takes about 20 minutes and costs approx. €15. From Schönefeld airport expect about 45 minutes’ ride and €35.

Generally, you can always orient yourself by heading for the high-rise building with the Charité sign on top, widely visible across town (building 65 or arrow B)!
