Food for the Poor Project Good week to all our Volunteers,

Hello, and good week to all our volunteers, please let us know if you have not received the new schedule, which was sent out last week for June/July. Don't forget to put your volunteering days in a place to remind you. Don't always rely on an e- mail sent the week before. Today is Memorial Day on which we honor men and women who fought and died while serving in the armed forces. We should reflect upon these brave individuals in prayerful silence. While these people may not pass this way again, their spirits lives on in our hearts. They are not truly gone, for their legacies live on. All of our volunteers taking food to the poor at St Vincent De Paul are helping living veterans at St Vincent De Paul Becker House. Four out of ten people are veterans. Thanks to all our “Heart of a Priest” Relic Pilgrimage of St. Jean volunteers who help to serve the poor and also Vianney’s Incorrupt Heart at St. Joan of Arc the homeless veterans. Have a thoughtful Church Memorial Day everyone as well as a good week, everyone. If you wear dress Before starting, let’s get one thing pants/khaki’s and a polo shirt/button down to work every day, but come to Mass dressed in shorts or jeans, a t- shirt, and flip flops—there is a disconnect. I asked myself a few questions: Why would I dress appropriately for work, but dress casually for Mass? Would I wear my work clothes to go to the pool, the beach or the lake? These questions challenged me.

At this point, the common objections might be percolating. Here are four that are most often brought up.

1. “God doesn’t care what I wear to Mass”

This is often heard along with, “Come as you are! God doesn’t care what clothes you wear! He just wants you!” This objection is pure conjecture. God does care what you out of the way: I am not judging you in any way.
