Entercom San Francisco Typhoon Haiyan Charity Drive Saturday November 23rd at The Shops at Tanforan
San Francisco, CA – 96.5 KOIT, 102.9 KBLX, 95.7 KGMZ and 98.5/102.1 KFOX are joining forces with The Shops at Tanforan to assist with the fundraising efforts for the West Bay Pilipino Multi-Services Center on Saturday November 23rd, 2013 from 8am to 5pm.
“With the devastating aftermath of the super Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, we felt compelled to do something that could make a difference for the affected millions of people of the Philippines” said Brian Figula, Program Director, 96.5 KOIT.
West Bay Pilipino Multi-Service Center has named the Philippine Red Cross as the beneficiary of all relief goods and Simbahang Lingkod Bayan, located in the most impacted and impoverished part of the Philippines and sister organization to the University of San Francisco, the beneficiary of all cash donations.
KOIT-FM 96.5, 102.9 KBLX, 95.7 The Game and 98.5/102.1 KFOX along with West Bay Pilipino Multi- Service Center, a San Francisco based non-profit, will be onsite to collect cash donations and donated goods from 8am- 5pm. Many families are in need of basic necessities- medical and hygiene kits, blankets, sleeping bags, diapers, non-perishable food, soap, nutritional supplies and water purification tablets. The drop off location will be located on the El Camino Real facing side of the main entrance and exit to the parking lot of The Shops at Tanforan, located at 1150 El Camino Real in San Bruno.
