Travel: The Merchant Adventurers’ Hall can be found in the heart of historic York.  BY ROAD The A1/M1 motorway network is connected to the A64 by the A1/M1 link road providing fast motorway links from all regions of the UK. There are a number of clearly sign-posted car parks close to the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall (see map http://www.visityork.org/information/mapcitycentre.htm ) but the parking for the day at these is expensive. Alternatively, and much cheaper, there is a network of Park & Ride facilities situated on the outskirts of York with a quick, low- fare service into the centre of York. Castle car park is a 24 hour car park PICCADILLY CASTLE MILLS Piccadilly car park is an all day car park that closes at 6.30 Castle Mills car park is an all day car park that shuts at pm 8.30pm ST GEORGE’S FIELD ESPLANADE St George’s Field car park is a 24 hour car park for cars and Esplanade car park is a 24 hour car park coaches.

FOSS BANK ST LEONARD’S PLACE Foss Bank car park is an all day car park that shuts at St Leonard’s Place car park is open to the public from 6pm 8.00pm each evening and at weekends and bank holidays

MARYGATE UNION TERRACE car park is a 24 hour car park Union Terrace car park is a 24 hour car park for cars and motorbikes and the coach park is open until 8.30pm MONK BAR

 BY AIR York is within easy travelling distance of six international airports including, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds/ Bradford and Newcastle.  BY SEA P&O/NSF operate daily overnight crossings from Zeebrugge and Rotterdam direct to Hull with a coach link to York.
