❖ 5:45 p.m.- 6:15 p.m. Students board busses at Sky Zone ​ ❖ (ALL STUDENTS ATTENDING PROM MUST TAKE THE BUS TO/FROM Adler Planetarium) ​ ​ ❖ If you do not show-up for Prom, your parents will be contacted ​ ​ ❖ 7:30 p.m. - Arrive at the Planetarium. ❖ 7:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. assorted appetizers, carving stations, and dancing ❖ 11:00 p.m. Students re-board the busses and return to Sky Zone at 12:00 a.m. ​ ​ ❖ (ALL STUDENTS ATTENDING PROM MUST TAKE THE BUS TO/FROM Adler Planetarium) ​ ​ ❖ Post Prom 11:30 a.m.- 3:00 a.m. - Students do not need to attend Prom in order to attend Post-Prom ​ ❖ Prom Packets will be available at the Bookstore on April 1, 2019

PROM-MAY 11, 2019 Student Dance/Social Permission Form

Glenbard South High School dances/socials are school sponsored events.. This form must be filled in completely and signed by the student and parent/ guardian before a student can purchase a ticket.

In order to provide an appropriate and safe environment for all students, the following expectations are in effect for all those in attendance at Glenbard South dances or socials:

• A Glenbard South student may bring one guest, high school through age 20, to a dance by obtaining a guest pass prior to the event. The school retains the right to refuse guests.

• Students must have their school I.D. to be admitted to the dance and social. Guests must have a high school I.D. or valid drivers license.

• Students who use tobacco, vaping devices, alcohol or other illegal substances will be reported to the the local law enforcement. Students will receive school consequences and may be banned from other dances for up to one year.

• Students who come to a dance under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will receive school consequences and may be banned from other dances for up to one year. Students will be reported to the the local law enforcement.

• Appropriate dancing is expected. Students deemed to be dancing in an inappropriate or in a sexually explicit manner may receive school consequences and parents/guardians notified.

• The Glenbard South code is in effect. Dances are considered semi-formal events. Appropriate attire includes, dress, skirt, slacks, shirt and tie or .

2019 Glenbard South Dance Guest Pass

The Dance Policy at Glenbard South High School allows a Glenbard student to bring one guest to ​ ​ dances, provided that the following information is completed prior to the event. Guests are only allowed at dances and events with advance ticket sales. The guest ticket cannot be purchased without this ​ completed form being turned in at the ticket sales site. We will write GUEST on the back of the ticket.

POST PROM 2019 FAQ’S

WHAT: Post Prom is the only school sanctioned middle-of-the-night event open to ALL GBS juniors and seniors, and their guests. There is no other event like this. Everything is FREE (don’t need to attend Prom to come to Post Prom). You don’t want to miss it! It is not a lock-in, but once you leave you may not re-enter. We must have a signed waiver before the event. Online waiver link: https://elmhurststore.skyzone.com/waiver/

WHERE: Sky Zone Trampoline Park, 325 West Lake St. Elmhurst. Prom buses leave and drop off at Sky Zone.

WHEN: Post Prom will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2019, 11:30pm – 3:00am.

WHO: All juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend. *****YOU DO NOT NEED TO ATTEND PROM TO ATTEND POST PROM! ****** All attendees may bring a guest. The guest may be from a different grade or a different school, but may not be over 20 years old and like all attendees, must submit a waiver.

HOW: If attending Prom, busses pick up and drop off at Sky Zone. If not attending Prom, doors open at 11:30pm. All participants must have a valid waiver completed before entry. If under 18, waiver must be completed by parent or legal guardian. Entry includes all food, drinks, games, photos, and entertainment for the evening.

POSSIBLE ACTIVITIES: Sky Wars (foam blasters), Ultimate Volleyball, Ultimate Dodgeball, Sky Basketball Slam, Climbing Wall, Warped Wall, Sky Ladder, Foam Pit, Karaoke, Caricature Drawings, Massage chairs, Photo booth, Lounge Area, Minute To Win It Games, Cash Prizes and more….

CLOTHES: After busses return from Prom, changing space and place to store personal items is available at Sky Zone. All participants must wear Sky socks, which are provided. In addition, all attendees will receive neon t-shirts to keep and wear for glow-in-the-dark jumping. Lightweight shorts or sweats are recommended.

PRIZES: Cash raffle every 30 minutes all night long! Stay the whole night to win cash or prizes and have a chance to win up to $300! Winners must be GBS juniors and seniors and present to win.

FOOD: Unlimited food and drinks such as Barone’s meatballs, pasta and salad, as well as pizza, chicken wings, smoothies, make your own sundaes, and so much more!
