Terms – Cash or advised cheque Auctioneer: Richard Hartnett The SensOor 24/7 Monitoring: All in the Cow’s Ear MORE MILK. MORE MONEY • More accurate heat detection than traditional methods like visual detection and tail chalking. • Monitors cow activity, temperature, eating, rumination and lying times; Sickness alert before cow shows clinical signs. • Better data for better decisions. • Proven to work in all management systems. • Easy to install and long battery life. • If interested, please go to http://www.wwsires.com/content/cowmanager The health alerts are the most valuable part of the system for me. They help us identify cows that are sick or not ruminating correctly. I do more preventative care before “a cow gets really sick because of these alerts. I can also monitor how the cow responds to treatment and even adjust my treatments because of how I see her responding. I have recommended this system to other dairy producers and will continue to do so.” Ben Yutzy, Windcrest Holsteins Timberville, Virginia 0315_CM_Brochure_Modules.indd 1 3/30/15 10:26 AM Awards Bull Show Lee Strand Co-operative Creamery Ltd will present the Championship award Present Holder: Kieran Harty World Wide Sires will present the Reserve Championship Trophy Present Holder: Michael Kissane The Jack Goulding Memorial Shield will be awarded for the best pair of Exhibitor bred bulls: Present Holder: Kieran Harty Class 1: Kerry Agri Business Cup Class kindly sponsored by Munster A.I. We were blessed with one of the few fine evenings in September. The contin- ued support of our sponsors, ‘Dairymaster’ with recognition all over the world is so greatly ap- preciated, without this sponsorship our herds competition would not take place. Each year has proven to bring many new entrants and energised interest to the club. The Club would like to thank our Master Judge, Chris Mullally of Enfield, Co. Meath, for his time and effort given over the duration of the judging, given that the weather did not really work in his favour. Chris Mul- lally’s knowledge and advice to the herds he judged was appreciated by all. We would also like to thank all the drivers who so diligently transferred Chris around to each farm. Results
