Ooohhh I’m SO excited to have you here to share with you my Feng Shui Top Tips to create your Office for success. Ken, have you had financial difficulty this year? My husbands jaw dropped and shivers went up his spine. I nearly fell of the chair in shock. How did she know? Ken is self employed and his main contractor that year had not paid him for over 6 months. He was on the verge of bankruptcy. As we delved into the energy of our home we discovered that the financial crisis we were going through was not our fault and could have been easily resolved. Our house had been in a Money Lock. Thankfully it all got resolved (using Feng Shui it could have been avoided) We were in the first day of our official training as Feng Shui Consultants. I had been interested in Feng Shui since I was sixteen reading books and doing a bit of DIY Feng Shui, but nothing prepared me for the power of what we were getting ourselves into and the transformations that it would have on our lives, business and simultaneously our clients lives and businesses when we embraced Feng Shui on a deeper level. This is what I intend to share with you in this book is some easy practical tips to get you started with creating an office environment that is magnetic to your dreams and allows your business to soar to success. • Phrenology Head
What’s on your mind? This is a classic picture stimulus that never fails to engage interest and generate dialogue. It works with young people from Key Stage Three right through to adults. Both the idea of phrenology and the image of a phrenology head are rich in possibilities, but this picture is extra rich because it shows the cover of a popular nineteenth century phrenological journal, and this has slogans like ‘Home Truths for Home Consumption’ and ‘Know Thyself’. Here’s one way to use this stimulus. 1. Provoke some discovery thinking It can go up on the screen, but its good to print off copies so small groups can gather around the image for a couple of minutes to try to make sense of it. It is beneficial to let them struggle and then have them feed back to the whole class with their first impressions. It is also useful to prompt some of this discovery thinking with questions like ‘What are we looking at?’, ‘Any clues about who this is aimed at?’, ‘What might the compartments be?’, ‘What is a journal?’ 2. Convey some information about phrenology 2.1. Phrenology was a very popular nineteenth century practice. 2.2. It was based on the idea that the mind has distinct functions that are located in different parts of the brain. 2.3. People believed that the more developed a particular function is, the bigger that part of the brain is. 2.4. They also believed that the shape of the person’s skull was determined by the relative development of each part of their brain .

  • The Crystal Movement May Not Turn You On, but What About a More Practical Use?
Art & Architecture The Crystal Movement May Not Turn You On, But What About a More Practical Use? Written by Lane Nieset Published on July 30, 2018 Stepping into Taryn Toomey’s TriBeCa fitness studio, The Class, comes with recognition of a common theme—crystals. Jagged “healing” clear quartz clings to light fixtures and crushed rose quartz, black onyx and amethyst lay hidden under the pale oak floor planks, where the former Christian Dior fashion executive-turned- fitness guru leads yoga-inspired sessions attended by supermodels like Christy Turlington Burns. The flickering candles and strategically placed crystals offer as much of a cathartic effect as the lithely blonde who simultaneously dances and DJs to Coachella-style beats, commanding students to “Get fucking angry” and let out pent-up emotions through animalistic roars. Equal parts therapy session and serious body sculpting, quartz- covered lighting (à la Kelly Wearstler) sets the scene here just as much as the beauty products lining the marble bathroom shelves. With the meditation and mindfulness industry pulling in more than $1.1 billion in the United States alone, it was only a matter of time before New Age healing classics like crystals made it to the mainstream market, with everyone from Victoria Beckham (who keeps crystals backstage before fashion shows) to designer Tory Burch (whose stores are decorated with crystal light fixtures) jumping on the balance bandwagon. In regions like Chamonix, where some of the world’s most beautiful smoky quartz is mined in the Mont Blanc massif mountain range, these crystals have served as design inspiration for thousands of years.

  • The Human Aura
The Human Aura Manual compiled by Dr Gaynor du Perez Copyright © 2016 by Gaynor du Perez All Rights Reserved No part of this book may be reproduced or distributed in any form or by any means without the written permission of the author. INTRODUCTION Look beneath the surface of the world – the world that includes your clothes, skin, material possessions and everything you can see - and you will discover a universe of swirling and subtle energies. These are the energies that underlie physical reality – they form you and everything you see. Many scientific studies have been done on subtle energies, as well as the human subtle energy system, in an attempt to verify and understand how everything fits together. What is interesting to note is that even though the subtle energy systems on the earth have been verified scientifically as existing and even given names, scientists are only able to explain how some of them work. Even though we do not fully comprehend the enormity and absolute amazingness of these energies, they form an integral part of life as we know it. These various energy systems still exist regardless of whether you “believe in them” or not (unlike Santa Claus). You can liken them to micro-organisms that were unable to be seen before the invention of the microscope – they couldn’t be seen, but they killed people anyway. We, and everything in the universe, is made of energy, which can be defined most simply as “information that vibrates”. What’s more interesting is that everything vibrates at its own unique frequency / speed, for example, a brain cell vibrates differently than a hair cell, and similar organisms vibrate in similar ways, but retain a slightly different frequency than the other.

Confessions of a (Former) Graphologist A first-hand report of one man's entry into the field of graphology, his later deep involvement with the practice, and his subsequent disillusionment. Along the way he encountered a continuing lack of scientific validation and a refusal of graphologists to face graphology's validity problems. ROBERT J. TRIPICIAN round 1972 I happened upon a magazine article describing handwriting analysis. The article got my A immediate attention as it showed a sample of hand- writing that closely resembled that of a co-worker. The per- sonality factors described in the analysis of this sample appeared to match the co-worker's personality very closely. This piqued my interest. After retirement I pursued the study and practice of graphology rather heavily, even becoming a Certified Professional Graphologist. I soon found that while texts on the subject are in general agreement regarding the meaning and interpretation of individual handwriting features, none of them describe an orderly approach to developing a com- 4 4 January/February 2000 SKEPTICAL INQUIRER plete profile. A R C H O N S HIDDEN RULERS THROUGH THE AGES A R C H O N S HIDDEN RULERS THROUGH THE AGES WATCH THIS IMPORTANT VIDEO UFOs, Aliens, and the Question of Contact MUST-SEE THE OCCULT REASON FOR PSYCHOPATHY Organic Portals: Aliens and Psychopaths KNOWLEDGE THROUGH GNOSIS Boris Mouravieff - GNOSIS IN THE BEGINNING ...1 The Gnostic core belief was a strong dualism: that the world of matter was deadening and inferior to a remote nonphysical home, to which an interior divine spark in most humans aspired to return after death. This led them to an absorption with the Jewish creation myths in Genesis, which they obsessively reinterpreted to formulate allegorical explanations of how humans ended up trapped in the world of matter. The basic Gnostic story, which varied in details from teacher to teacher, was this: In the beginning there was an unknowable, immaterial, and invisible God, sometimes called the Father of All and sometimes by other names. “He” was neither male nor female, and was composed of an implicitly finite amount of a living nonphysical substance. Surrounding this God was a great empty region called the Pleroma (the fullness). Beyond the Pleroma lay empty space. The God acted to fill the Pleroma through a series of emanations, a squeezing off of small portions of his/its nonphysical energetic divine material. In most accounts there are thirty emanations in fifteen complementary pairs, each getting slightly less of the divine material and therefore being slightly weaker. The emanations are called Aeons (eternities) and are mostly named personifications in Greek of abstract ideas.
