The necessary data for the analysis to generate and select water supply alternatives were collected concernet I . d mainly economical • data that are prepared by the PRED. The methodology to be followed in the final fourth phase | was discussed with the parties involved. In the last and fourth phase in the Netherlands the data collected and prepared into a data base | were analyzed and processed by means of a geographical information system. Village wise groundwater alternatives were defined and combined to regional supply alternatives. An « economical model to calculate investments of groundwater supply options was prepared. The I results of the first three phases of the study were incorporated in a multi criteria analyses. Final reporting followed hereafter. _ By the end of each visit in India the most important findings were reported to the Engineer in Chief of the Panchayati Raj Engineering Department and representatives of the Royal Netherlands Embassy. • 1.5 THE REPORT This is the second volume of a two volume report. The first volume contains the findings of the study in short and the main conclusions and recommendations. The present volume presents the background information, the data base and details on the models that have been uses. The second chapter contains a description of the study area and presents the existing water supply systems and water resource developments with emphasizes on the water supply systems of the PRED. PUBLIC CONSULTATION 1.0 Introduction The Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoE&F), Government of India issued Environmental Impact Assessment notification S.O. 1533 dated September 16, 2006. As per the said notification Metallurgical Industries (Ferrous & non ferrous) Primary metallurgical industry prescribes environmental clearance under category ‘A’. Hence the present proposal obtained Terms of reference from the Expert appraisal committee of MoE&F and the committee recommended the project proponents to conduct public consultation process as part of Environmental Clearance process. Accordingly the draft Environmental Impact Assessment was submitted to Regional Officer, Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Boad, Nalgonda for conducting public hearing. The public hearing for the expansion proposal was conducted on 13-07- 2012 from 10.30 AM at the plant site at Sy. The collected samples were analyzed for their physic-chemical characteristics. The Parameters analyzed are PH, Colour, Odour, Temperature, TDS, Oil & Grease, COD, BOD, Chlorume, Nitrogen, Phosphate, Arsenic, Lead, Chromium, Copper, Zinc, Sulphide, Iron, Manganese and Fluoride importantly. A special emphasis on the fluoride levels was done because of the history of the Nalgonda District for prevalence of the high fluoride content in the ground waters. The values were compared with the WHO standards for the water Quality index, by testing on analysing these Parameters’ an attempt was made to determine whether the water quality is suitable for human consumption. INTRODUCTION It is a major cause of concern in Telangana state where people mostly depend on groundwater for drinking and cooking as rural areas are without protected drinking water supply.

Job Profile:- (i) BRANCH POSTMASTER (BPM) The Job Profile of Branch Post Master will include managing affairs of Branch Post Office, India Posts Payments Bank ( IPPB) and ensuring uninterrupted counter operation during the prescribed working hours using the handheld device/Smartphone/laptop supplied by the Department. The overall management of postal facilities, maintenance of records, upkeep of handheld device/laptop/equipment ensuring online transactions, and marketing of Postal, India Post Payments Bank services and procurement of business in the villages or Gram Panchayats within the jurisdiction of the Branch Post Office should rest on the shoulders of Branch Postmasters. However, the work performed for IPPB will not be included in calculation of TRCA, since the same is being done on incentive basis.Branch Postmaster will be the team leader of the Branch Post Office and overall responsibility of smooth and timely functioning of Post Office including mail conveyance and mail delivery. He/she might be assisted by Assistant Branch Post Master of the same Branch Post Office. BPM will be required to do combined duties of ABPMs as and when ordered. He will also be required to do marketing, organizing melas, business procurement and any other work assigned by IPO/ASPO/SPOs/SSPOs/SRM/SSRM and other Supervising authorities.
